Sunday Basketball January 6 (NBA) (part 1) (key match-ups)

Today was a big day for the NBA.  Heat vs. Wizards match-up this afternoon was a very interesting match-up. The heat 23-9 and the Wizards 4-28, showed that the Wizards were probably going to get blown out. The heat dominated every quarter of the game starting in the first quarter. The Heat out scored the Wizards 27-19 , second quarter 25-25, third quarter 17-16, and the fourth quarter 30-11. The game leaders on the Heat were Ray Allen with 20 points and 6 rebounds (off the bench), Lebron James 24 points and 7 asst. and Udonis Haslem with 12 rebounds . The game leaders for the Washington Wizards were Kevin Seraphin with 14 points and Emeka Okafor with 9 rebounds. The heat would go on to win 99-71 giving the Wizards there 5th straight lost. (heat won)
 The next game of the after noon was the Oklahoma City Thunder vs Toronto Raptors. This game was a lot more competive then what was thought . The Oklahoma City thunder have a record of 26-7 (one of the best in the NBA) and the Toronoto Raptors have a record of 12-22. Looking at these two records its assumed that the Thunder would dominate the entire game . In the first quarter the Thunder out score the Raptors 23-18 , but in the second quarter the Raptors come out with a more competive edge, out scoring the thunder 32-29. Second half, in the third quarter the Thunder out score the Raptors 26-17 and in the fourth quarter the thunder out scored the Raptors by one point 26-25, the Thunder go on to win it 104-92. The game leaders for Oklahoma were Russell Westbrook 23 points. The game leaders for the Raptors were Alan Anderson 27 points, James Johnson 9 rebounds, and Jose Calderon 11 ast. (thunder won)
 The Next game of the after noon was the Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets. The lakers have a record of 15-18 and the Denver 20-16. The Lakers were dominated most the game 1st quarter 34-26, 2nd quarter 26-34, 3rd quarter 29-23, and the 4th quarter 23-22. The leading scores og the game were Kobe Bryant with 29 points and Dwight Howards ties career high rebounds with 26 rebounds. For the Nuggets Ty Lawson with 21 points. The Nuggets would go on to win it 112-105. (Nuggets won)
