NFL WEEK 11

Monday night wasn't just a typical night in the NFL. The NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS  took on the CAROLINA PANTHERS. The panthers came into this game having a rocky season, the first 4 games of the season , but since have been on a 5 game winning streak. The panthers came into this game 6-3 on the season. The patriots came into this game, top of the AFC with a record of 7-2. First quarter the panthers would show that they were the tougher team, on both sides of the ball, holding the patriots to zero points in the first quarter. The Panthers would also show that there offense was strong as well, with a touchdown pass late in the first, from Cam Newton to Brandon La Fell for a Panthers touchdown (9 yard pass).The panthers would be leading 7-0 at the end of the first. Second quarter the patriots defense began to show there intensity, as they would hold the panthers to a 43 yard field goal in the middle of the second quarter (kick by Graham Gano). Later in the second quarter the patriots would avoid a shut out in the first half with getting a late 42 yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski.  The panthers would be leading at the half 10-3. Second half the patriots would make a come back, opening up the third quarter with a touchdown drive from Tom Brady to Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. (9 yard pass). The panthers would answer back with a touchdown drive of there own, with quarterback Cam Newton leading the way with a 15 yard pass from Newton to Greg Olsen , to put the panthers up 17-10 at the end of the third quarter. Fourth quarter the patriots would bounce back with a touchdown drive and patriot Stevan Ridley would lead the way to run 1 yard for the patriots touchdown. The panthers would turn the ball over in the next drive and the patriots would take advantage of it, having a scoring drive of there own, with kicker Stephen Gostkowski kicking a 26 yard field goal for the patriots, making the score 20-17. The panthers knowing the game was on the line drove up the field for the panthers touchdown. Cam Newton Leading the way throwing 25 yards up the field to Ted Ginn Jr. making the score 24-20. The panthers would go on to win the game 24-20, extending there winning streak to 6 games.

NBA THURSDAY

The HOUSTON ROCKETS took on the NEW YORK KNICKS. The rockets have struggled this season, finishing out games and it has cost them a few of their close match-ups and has been the difference in them losing 4 very close games. The rockets would come into this game with a record of 5-4. The knicks have also struggled this season, with a record of 3-4 coming into this game. The rockets would get out to a early lead at the end of the first quarter, but by the end of the half they would be losing 54-51. Second half the rockets would make a come back out scoring the knicks 22-20 in the third quarter, but the knicks would still have a 1 point lead. Fourth quarter the rockets would go on to take the win. James Harden would lead the way for the rockets 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading the way for the knicks was Carmelo Anthony with 45 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 ast. The rockets would go on to win this nail biter 109-106.

NFL WEEK 10

The Monday night match-up for week 10 was the MIAMI DOLPHINS vs TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS. The dolphins came into this game under the media's eye surrounding all of the teams controversy over two of there players this past weel. The dolphins have had a hard week, but they have managed in the mist of all of their teams troubles to have a record of 4-4 on the season. The Buccaneers have also had a tough road to this game well, as they would have a record of 0-8 leading up to this game. Surrounding the buccaneers quarterback situation, they have struggled the entire season failing to win a game leading up to the Monday night match-up against the dolphins.The buccaneers would have one safety in the first half, two field goals and one touchdown to lead the dolphins in the first half 15-7. The second half the Miami dolphins would storm back, not letting the game slip away, by getting two field goals and one touch down to give them a 4 point lead. In the fourth quarter the buccaneers would get a touchdown to put them ahead by 3 ,and would go on to win it 22-19.

NBA MONDAY NIGHT SCORE UPDATE

 On, Monday night, the PHILDELPHIA 76ERS would fall to the SAN ANTIONIO SPURS 109-85 as the spurs would cruse to another victory making there record on the season 7-1. The 76ers would drop  to 4-4, after winning there first 3 games and losing 4-1 of there last games.

The INDIANA PACERS Monday night, would fly past the MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 95-79 improving to 8-0 on the season. The grizzlies would fall to the pacers dropping to 3-4 on the season.

The LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS would be leading at half 59-58 to the MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES. Before the Monday night match up the clippers would be 4-3 on the season. The Timberwolves would be a impressive 5-2 on the season.

NFL WEEK 9

Week 9 of the NFL season was underway Sunday as the HOUSTON TEXANS took on division rival INDIANAPOLIS COLTS. The Texans came into this gam, last season winning the AFC south division, but it has been anything, but that this season as they were 2-5. The colts came into this game head of the AFC south division, thus far in the season with a record of 5-2. These two division rivals knew that this game was going to determine who was going to be head of the division this season. First quarter Case Keenum would throw 62 yards to receiver Andre Johnson for a Texans touchdown to open up the beginning of the game, putting the Texans up 7-0. By the end of the quarter the Texans would receive another touchdown, Case Keenum would throw a 41 yard pass up the field to Andre Johnson for a Texans touchdown giving them the lead at the end of the first quarter 14-0. Second quarter the colts would bounce back, but the Texans defense would hold the colts to a scoring drive, as colts kick Adam Vinatieri would kick a 30 yard field goal to make the score 14-3. The Texans would bounce back with a touchdown drive, as Case Keenum would throw a 5 yard pass up the field to Andre Johnson for a Texans touchdown. The Texans would lead at the end of the half 21-3. Third quarter the colts would have a scoring drive of their own as colts kicker Adam Vinatieri would kick a 35 yard field goal. The Texans would respond with a kick by Texans kicker Randy Bullock for 43 yards. The colts would bounce back with a touchdown drive as Andrew Luck would throw a 10 yard pass to T.Y. Hilton for a colts touchdown. The Texans would be leading at the end of the third 24-12. Fourth quarter it would be all the colts, as Andrew Luck would throw a 58 yard pass to T.Y. Hilton for a colts touchdown. The Texans would be unable to respond. The colts Andrew Luck would throw another 9 yard pass to T.Y.Hilton and the colts would get the two point conversion as the end of regulation would expire. The colts would make a major come back as they would go on to win it 27-24.

NBA TUESDAY

Monday night was another great night of basketball in the NBA. The HOUSTON ROCKETS took on the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS. The rockets came into this game undefeated, with a record of 3-0. The clippers came into this game with a record of 1-2, after losing their first game to the Los Angles Lakers. First quarter the clippers would get out to a strong early lead, out scoring the rockets 42-25. Second quarter the rocket would fight back into the game, out scoring the clippers 41-36. Second half the clippers would continue to control the tempo, and would out score the rockets 26-23 in the third. The Rockets would fight back in the fourth, but the clippers would out score them 33-29. Leading scorers for the clippers were J.J. Redick with 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast., Chris Paul with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 17 ast. and Blake Griffin with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading scorers for the Rockets were James Harden with 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 ast.. Dwight Howard with 13 points and 9 rebounds, and Omri Casspi with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 ast. The clippers would go on to win it 137-118.

NBA WEEK 1

It is almost a week into the NBA 2013-2014 season, and there have already been a few season surprises. On Saturday the PHILDELPHIA 76ERS took on the CHICAGO BULLS. The 76ers came into this game winning their first 2 games of the season, as break out star Michael Carter- Williams would lead the way. Williams was a number one draft pick in the 2013 draft for the 76ers and has been a stand out star since the 76ers began their season this week. The bulls have had a interesting start to the season as they are 1-1. First quarter the bulls would get out to a early lead, out scoring the 76ers 34-22. Second quarter the bulls would continue to dominate out scoring thee 76ers 30-27 to end the half. Second half, the 76ers would battle back into the game, and would out score the bulls 33-19. Fourth quarter the 76ers would continue to make a come back, out scoring the bulls 25-21. Leading scorers for the 76ers were Michael Carter-Williams with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 ast., Evan turner 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast., and Spencer Hawes had 18 points, and 11 rebounds. Leading scorers for the bulls were Carlos Boozer with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 ast., Luol Deng with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 ast., and Joakim Noah with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 ast. The 76ers would go on to win it 107-104.

The second eye poping  game in week one of the season took place on Sunday night. The MIAMI HEAT would take on the WASHINGTON WIZARDS. The Miami heat would come into this game 1-2 on the season. The heat would shock everyone considering they were the World Champions last season. The heat have dropped there last two games. (the nets and the 76ers) The wizards would be 0-2 on the season. First quarter the heat would get out to a early six point lead, out scoring the wizards 33-27. Second quarter the heat would continue to dominate, out scoring the wizards 28-21 to end the half. Second half the heat would continue to add to their lead , out scoring the wizards in the third 26-16. Fourth quarter the wizards would come back and would out score the heat in the fourth 29-16. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 ast. , Chris Bosh with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast., and Mario Chalmers with 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the wizards were Bradley Beal with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast., Marcin Gortat with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 ast., and Trevor Ariza with 13 points and 7 rebounds. The heat would go on to win it 103-93.
