NBA WEEK 1

It is almost a week into the NBA 2013-2014 season, and there have already been a few season surprises. On Saturday the PHILDELPHIA 76ERS took on the CHICAGO BULLS. The 76ers came into this game winning their first 2 games of the season, as break out star Michael Carter- Williams would lead the way. Williams was a number one draft pick in the 2013 draft for the 76ers and has been a stand out star since the 76ers began their season this week. The bulls have had a interesting start to the season as they are 1-1. First quarter the bulls would get out to a early lead, out scoring the 76ers 34-22. Second quarter the bulls would continue to dominate out scoring thee 76ers 30-27 to end the half. Second half, the 76ers would battle back into the game, and would out score the bulls 33-19. Fourth quarter the 76ers would continue to make a come back, out scoring the bulls 25-21. Leading scorers for the 76ers were Michael Carter-Williams with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 ast., Evan turner 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast., and Spencer Hawes had 18 points, and 11 rebounds. Leading scorers for the bulls were Carlos Boozer with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 ast., Luol Deng with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 ast., and Joakim Noah with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 ast. The 76ers would go on to win it 107-104.

The second eye poping  game in week one of the season took place on Sunday night. The MIAMI HEAT would take on the WASHINGTON WIZARDS. The Miami heat would come into this game 1-2 on the season. The heat would shock everyone considering they were the World Champions last season. The heat have dropped there last two games. (the nets and the 76ers) The wizards would be 0-2 on the season. First quarter the heat would get out to a early six point lead, out scoring the wizards 33-27. Second quarter the heat would continue to dominate, out scoring the wizards 28-21 to end the half. Second half the heat would continue to add to their lead , out scoring the wizards in the third 26-16. Fourth quarter the wizards would come back and would out score the heat in the fourth 29-16. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 ast. , Chris Bosh with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast., and Mario Chalmers with 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the wizards were Bradley Beal with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast., Marcin Gortat with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 ast., and Trevor Ariza with 13 points and 7 rebounds. The heat would go on to win it 103-93.
