The rockets have struggled this season, finishing out games and it has cost them a few of their close match-ups and has been the difference in them losing 4 very close games. The rockets would come into this game with a record of 5-4. The knicks have also struggled this season, with a record of 3-4 coming into this game. The rockets would get out to a early lead at the end of the first quarter, but by the end of the half they would be losing 54-51. Second half the rockets would make a come back out scoring the knicks 22-20 in the third quarter, but the knicks would still have a 1 point lead. Fourth quarter the rockets would go on to take the win. James Harden would lead the way for the rockets 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading the way for the knicks was Carmelo Anthony with 45 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 ast. The rockets would go on to win this nail biter 109-106.
