NBA WESTRN CONFERENCE FINALS (game 5)

The SAN ANTONIO SPURS against the OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER were very dominate to start the series. Since the blow out win in game two the spurs have played anything but championship caliber basketball. In games three and four the thunder have had their way offensively dominating the paint and thunder guard Russell Westbrook making it into the record books going 12/24 from the field scoring 40 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 rebounds. The only player that would top his performance in NBA history would be Michael Jordan. The thunder dominated in games three and four but this momentum would soon change as the spurs would play game five on their home court. Both teams would seem evenly matched at the beginning of the game both going on their separate runs throughout the first half. But the thunder would look as if they ran out of gas in the third as the spurs would put the game away scoring from every place on the court. Tim Duncan of the San Antonio spurs would lead the way for the spurs going 8/13 from the field scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 ast. Danny Green would also contribute to the spurs win from three point land going 4/9. Despite the thunders loss last night because of the limited minutes of Serge Ibaka the thunders defensive presence was absent in game five. The thunder were 6-0 this season with Serge Ibaka in the lineup. The spurs would go on to win game five of the series coasting into game 6 to close the series out 117-89.
