NBA UPDATES

The NBA this past week has been relatively quite. Seven time NBA All Star Tracy McGrady retired from the NBA after 16 seasons in the league on Monday. "It's been 16 years playing the game I love. I've had a great run, but its time for it to come to an end," McGrady expressed on Monday. McGrady this past season signed to the San Antonio Spurs for a 1 year deal. McGrady has had his troubles this past year, with having knee surgery last season and then going on to signing a deal with the spurs in April. Throughout his career McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. McGrady told reporters he is very sad to leave the spurs organization and he wishes he had another chance, but the door is still open for him to play in China. "Officially retired from the NBA. Door's still open." Also this past week center Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks signed a extention on Wednesday. Reportedly the deal was worth up to 4 years and 44 million dollars. Sanders was drafted 15th overall in the 2010 draft. Sanders averaged 9.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks. Sanders also had a streak of  blocks for 40 straight games. Antawn Jamison of the Lakers signed a one year deal with the Clippers on Monday. The deal was reportedly worth the veterans minimum. Jamison played for the lakers last season and averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds.
