NFL HALL OF FAME 2013

Tonight, will be a night to remember in the NFL, as seven new members (class of 2013) were inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame has over 120 members, and tonight, marked the 50th ceremony for the induction. Among the inductees were Cris Carter, Warren Sapp, Jonathan Ogden, Dave Robinson, Larry Allen, Bill Parcells, and Curley Culp. Carter was especially excited about tonight because he had been waiting so long for the moment to be inducted into the hall of fame. Carter needed six tries to make the Hall of Fame even though when he retired he was the number two career receiver behind Jerry Rice. "I appreciate the process you have to go through to get to be a hall of famer," Carter expressed Saturday.  Parcells also expressed his excitement for being inducted into the Hall of fame. "There's a kinship created that lasts for the rest of your life." Parcells spoke about Saturday. Parcells was one of the most successful coaches of all time so he was truly a gift to the League winning numerous coach of the year awards (1986 and 1994) and the Hall of Fame. Also Among the stand outs tonight was Defensive tackle Warren Sapp. Warren Sapp became only the second Tampa Bay Buccaneer to be inducted into the Hall of fame, and he was accompanied tonight by his 15 year old daughter Mercedes. Sapp expressed during his Hall of Fame speech, that the rode to the top wasn't all that easy , "That Dirt road was something rough, We sure turned it into something special." This Hall of Fame induction will be one to remember.
