NFL Media Day

As we wind down to sunday and get closer and closer to the Super Bowl, the excitement is beginning to grow, starting with Media Day Tuesday. Tuesday both the DENVER BRONCOS and the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS took the podium to answer all press and media questions. Even players such as Marshawn Lynch. Lynch is the Seahawks starting running back and over the past season has has made it known that he isn't a media person, and has even skipped after games press conferences. It was super bowl media day and he spoke out to the media for the first time. He wasn't given a podium, but he told reporters tuesday "They just want to make sure I show up to perform". He was talking about his fellow Seahawk players. Another standout player that took the podium was Richard Sherman. Sherman after the NFC playoff game went on a rant about how the 49 ers receivers were "overrate" such as Michael Crabtree. Over the past few weeks he has faced alot of  heat for his after game interview, but tuesday he cleaned up his comments and corrected all remarks made in the after game interview. He wanted the focus to be turned on his teammates rather then himself, he said tuesday "All of these cameras should go to my teammates." On the Broncos end of things Wes Welker had some words tuesday as, to health of him self and his troublesome concussions and its meaning on if he will be able to play sunday and his effectiveness." You know. You want to be out there. It's the Super Bowl. Like , this is what you dream about. You're gonna be there. I don't care what it takes." Over all were in for a great treat Super Bowl Sunday.

SUPERBOWL CONTENDERS

Sunday, we witnessed the NFC and AFC champions crowd. The 2014 Super Bowl contenders are the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS vs DENVER BRONCOS. The seahawks came off a emotional win sunday as they would beat the 49 ers in the last minutes of the fourth quarter. These two teams were division opponets and the rivalry on sunday night carried over from the division games as the seahawks would beat the 49 ers in the NFC championship game 23-17. The seahawks secondary wasn't extremely well in the win against the 49ers. Their front four applied pressure constantly to 49 ers quarter back Colin Kapernick to force the 49 ers quarterback into uncomfortable situtations which assisted with the win, along with there great offensive play. This should be the key to the seahawks success against the Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. The last play of the game against the 49 ers was a huge play in the secondary by corner back Richard Sherman to bat down the pass to Michael Crabtree, it wasn't the key thing to the seahawks victory. The pass deflection/interception did stop a major game changer, which would have gave the 49 ers  a touchdown to tie the game. The seahawks on offense would out score the 49ers on the passing side of the ball with Russell Wilson throwing for more then 215 yards while 49 ers quarterback Colin Kapernick would throw for 153 yards. Early in the match-up the 49 ers would show why they had made it thus far to the NFC championship game but wouldn't be able to hold on to the end. On the other end of things the Broncos dominated in the AFC Championship game from the start of GO. The Broncos key to success is to get out to a early lead against the Seahawks such as they did sunday. The Broncos would out score the patriots on passing yards 400 to 277 which secured the win for the broncos. We will see in two weeks which team will win the battle the 49 ers or the Broncos ? (Next weekend is the NFL probowl )

The 49 ers are coming into this game "hungrier" then ever as they know what it takes to get back their. They know that it going to be very difficult to beat the Seahawks at home Sunday but they know its durable. The Seahawks have been a surprise to  everyone this entire season as they shocked the country when they were the number one seed in the NFC and proved it all season long. The Seahawks are coming into Sunday's match-up 13-3. The Seahawks have been anything but extradinary all season proving time and time again they can play teams very tough and can get the win. The Seahawks showed in there game Saturday why they are the number one seed in the NFC as they would beat the saints 23-15. The seahawks know that Sunday's game will not be given to them and that there opponent. the 49 ers, will be battling just as hard to get back to the Superbowl. The world will be watching Sunday to see what two teams can battle it out to be the NFC and AFC champions and will make there way to New York to the 48th Super Bowl.
