NFL SATURDAY/SUNDAY (PLAYOFFS WEEK 1)

Saturday marked the first round of playoffs in the post season for the NFL for divisions NFC and AFC. The first match-up were the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs PHILADELPHIA EAGLES.  The Saints came into this game, a NFC wild card as they would not win their division . They would come into this game with a record on the season of 11-5. The eagles would come into this game, in the final week of the season vieing for a play offs birth as the game against the Dallas Cowboys would be a play in game for the winner to receive the last NFC playoff spot winning the NFC east.  The eagles would cruise by the cowboys receiving that spot. The eagles would end the season with a record of 10-6. First quarter both teams would struggle offensively, neither team scoring in the first period. Second quarter the saints would begin with a scoring drive. The saints kicker Shayne Graham would kick a 36 yard field goal at the beginning of the quarter and a 46 yard field goal at the very end of the quarter. The eagles would answer back with a touchdown of their own with Riley Cooper of the eagles leading the way catching a 10 yard pass from quarter back Nick Foles. The eagles would end the half in the lead 7-6. Second half , to begin the quarter the saints would put together two consecutive touchdown drives with Lance Moore catching a 24 yard pass from Drew Brees and Mark Ingram running 4 yards to get the second touchdown for the saints. The eagles would answer back with a touchdown at the and of the quarter by LeSean McCoy running 1 yard for the eagles touchdown. The saints would be up 20-14. Fourth quarter the eagles would begin strong, as they would put the first points on the board in the fourth quarter with Alex Henery kicking a 31 yard field goal. The saints would answer back with a field goal of their own , with Shayne Graham, leading the way kicking a 35 yarder. The eagles and saints would go toe to toe for the rest of the fourth quarter but in the end the saints would win the game in the final seconds 26-24. The saints would advance to the divisional round of the NFC division playoffs.

KANSAS CHIEFS vs INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 44:45 (Indianapolis Colts winner)
