SUPERBOWL CONTENDERS

Sunday, we witnessed the NFC and AFC champions crowd. The 2014 Super Bowl contenders are the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS vs DENVER BRONCOS. The seahawks came off a emotional win sunday as they would beat the 49 ers in the last minutes of the fourth quarter. These two teams were division opponets and the rivalry on sunday night carried over from the division games as the seahawks would beat the 49 ers in the NFC championship game 23-17. The seahawks secondary wasn't extremely well in the win against the 49ers. Their front four applied pressure constantly to 49 ers quarter back Colin Kapernick to force the 49 ers quarterback into uncomfortable situtations which assisted with the win, along with there great offensive play. This should be the key to the seahawks success against the Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. The last play of the game against the 49 ers was a huge play in the secondary by corner back Richard Sherman to bat down the pass to Michael Crabtree, it wasn't the key thing to the seahawks victory. The pass deflection/interception did stop a major game changer, which would have gave the 49 ers  a touchdown to tie the game. The seahawks on offense would out score the 49ers on the passing side of the ball with Russell Wilson throwing for more then 215 yards while 49 ers quarterback Colin Kapernick would throw for 153 yards. Early in the match-up the 49 ers would show why they had made it thus far to the NFC championship game but wouldn't be able to hold on to the end. On the other end of things the Broncos dominated in the AFC Championship game from the start of GO. The Broncos key to success is to get out to a early lead against the Seahawks such as they did sunday. The Broncos would out score the patriots on passing yards 400 to 277 which secured the win for the broncos. We will see in two weeks which team will win the battle the 49 ers or the Broncos ? (Next weekend is the NFL probowl )
