NBA MONDAY NIGHT

The first match-up of the evening was the SAN ANTONIO SPURS vs CHICAGO BULLS . The Spurs were at the top of there conference (west) and knew that winning this game would have put them in a comfortable lead in the west. The Chicago Bulls came into this game struggling but they have defeated all odds all season with the losing of there number one player Derek Rose(to a tore ACL) but they have defeated all odds and are still a play off contender in the east. The spurs had a record of 40-12, being the first team in the NBA to win 40 games. The bulls came into this game with a record 31-20. First quarter the Bulls came out very strong out scoring the spurs in the first quarter 24-20. Second quarter the Spurs come towering back to catch back up and out scored the bulls 31-18 in the second. Second half the Bulls weren't going to let this game slip away from them so they came back and out scored the spurs 29-25 in the third. Fourth quarter the Spurs came out a dominated and out scored the bulls 27-18. The spurs were with out Tony Parker tonight so this was a very impressive and a great win for there team. Leading scorers for the spurs were Kawhi Leonard 26 points and Danny Green 16 points and 6 rebounds. Leading scorers for the Bulls were Nate Robinson with 20 points and 7 ast. and Joakim Noah 15 rebounds. The spurs would go on to win it 103-89 with out there lead point guard Tony Parker.

The second match up of the evening was the INDIANA PACERS vs BROOKLYN NETS. The Indiana pacers have struggled lately with alot of there games lately because of there lack of not being able to finish out games when they have a very commanding lead. Surprisingly they still came into this game as being one of the top teams in the east with a record of 31-21. The Brooklyn nets came into this game with a record of 29-22. First quarter the nets came out very strong and got out to a very commanding lead and controlled the entire tempo of the first quarter out scoring the pacers in the first  20-13. Second quarter the pacers came towering back out scoring the nets in the second 27-15. Second half the Brooklyn nets came back out scoring the pacers in the third 23-14. In the fourth the pacers came back to tie the game out scoring the nets in the fourth 22-18, sending the game into over time. In over time the Nets dominated out scoring the Pacers in overtime 13-8. Leading scorers for the pacers were George Hill with 22points and 6 ast. (the nets kept leading forward for the pacers Paul George to only 5 points the entire game). Leading scorers for the nets were Brook Lopez with 25 points and Reggie Evans with 8 points and 22 rebounds. The Nets would go on to win it in over time 89-84
