NBA SATURDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS vs ORLANDO MAGIC. Both of these teams are in the Eastern Conference so this match-up was a conference game. Even though these teams weren't in a play-off spot, they still wanted to try and put themselves in a position so that they could possibly battle for one later on in the season. The Cavaliers came into this game with a record of 17-37. The Magic came into this game with a record of 15-40. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the cavaliers would give it a extra push and would out score the Magic by one point in the first 26-25. Second quarter both teams came out very strong again but this time the magic would win the battle beating the cavaliers by one point in the second 26-25, leaving both teams tied. Second half both teams came out very strong again but the Cavaliers would show that they had a stronger team out scoring the magic in the third 28-21. Fourth quarter the Cavaliers momentum from the third quarter would carry them and they would almost blow out the magic in the fourth 39-22. Leading scorers for the Cavaliers were Marreese Speights 17 points , 8 rebounds and 1 ast and Kyrie Irving with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 ast. Leading scorers for the magic were Arron Affolo 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Beno Udrih 10 points and 7 ast. The cavaliers would go on to win it 118-94.
 Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs PHILADELPHIA 76 ERS.  Both of these teams are part of the eastern Conference. The Miami heat are the leader in the east (as far as records) and the 76ers are battling for a play-off spot but they still have time to catch the 8th place team in the east. The Miami heat came into this game with a 3 game winning streak since the All- Star break which has extended there lead in the east.The 76ers have had there struggles but they have been trying to get back on there feet since the All-star break. The Miami heats record before the game was 38-14. The Philadelphia 76ers record before this game was 22-30. First quarter the heat came out to get a very strong lead out scoring the 76ers in the first 27-24. Second quarter the heat carried there momentum into the second quarter out scoring the 76ers again 29-23. Second half the heat came out very strong again out scoring the 76ers 31-24. Fourth quarter the Miami heat were to much for the 76ers, the heat out scored the 76ers again 27-19 proving why there the number one seed in the east. Leading scorers for Miami heat were Dwayne Wade with 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Lebron James with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 11ast.  Leading scorers for the 76ERS were Jrue Holiday 21 points , 6 rebounds and 6 ast.  and Evan Turner 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 ast.  The Miami heat would go on to win it 114-90.
