NBA WEDNESDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs ATLANTA HAWKS. The Miami heat had a record of 36-14 in the east before the All-star break. The Miami heat had all three of there big three make the all-star team. (Chris Bosh , Dwanye Wade, and Lebron James) This game was the first game for the Miami Heat since the All-star break  and they planned to continue there domination in the east the second half of the season. The Atlanta Hawks came into this game before the All-Star break with a record of 29-22. They were in a play off spot in the east and wanted to stay in that position the second half of the season. First quarter the Miami heat came out very strong putting up a strong 24 points in front of the Atlanta Hawks 17 points. Second quarter the Atlanta Hawks showed why they were a strong contender for a play-off spot in the east out scoring the Miami heat in the second 32-21 going into half time with a lead of 4 points over the Miami heat. Second half the Atlanta Hawks continued there momentum into the third quarter out scoring the heat again for the second quarter 24-18. In the fourth quarter Lebron James and the heat proved to be to much for the Atlanta Hawks. The heat would explode in the fourth quarter putting up a dominating 40 points to the Atlanta Hawks 17 points. Leading Scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 24 points and 11ast and 6 rebounds and Chris bosh would score 6 rebounds. Leading scorers for the Atlanta hawks were Al Hortford with 27 points 2ast., and 9 rebounds, Josh Smith with 9 ast. The Miami heat would put a dominating performance showing why they were the number one team in the east going on to win it 103-90.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK KNICKS  vs INDIANA PACERS. The Pacers came into this game with a record of 33-21 before the All-star break. They had there number one scorer of there team Paul George make the All-star team. Coming into this game they were a strong play-off contender in the east . The New York Knicks came in to this game with a very strong team as well. Two of there players made the All-star team Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler. They came into the All-star break with a record of 32-18. Both of these teams knew that this game could build there momentum going into the second half of the season and pushing them toward the play-offs. First quarter the Indiana Pacers surged out to a very strong and demanding lead out scoring the Knicks in the first 30-18.  Second quarter the Indiana Pacers continued there momentum into the second out scoring the Knicks again 44-26. Second half the Indiana Pacers came out very strong out scoring the Knicks again 28-22.  Fourth quarter the New York Knicks tried to fight back and tried to get back into the game but it was to little to late , the knicks would out score the pacers in the fourth 25-23 but it wouldn't be enough to win the game. Leading scorers for the Indiana Pacers were Paul George with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 ast, David West with 18 points and 9 rebounds, ad George Hill with 10 points and 5 ast. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Tyson Chandler with 19 points and 11 rebounds. The Pacers would go on to win it 125-91.

Tonight's third match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ROCKETS vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The Oklahoma city thunder had two players from there team that made the All-star team Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The thunder came into the All-star break as being one of the top three teams in the west with a record 39-14 heading into the All-star break. This game would help to propel them into the second half of there season. The Houston Rockets had one of there players that made the All-Star team James Harden, who had been the heart and soul of the Houston Rockets. The Rockets record before heading into the All-star break was 29-26. This game would help them keep there place in the play-offs in the west where all of the teams in the play-off spots are very worthy. First quarter the Rockets serge out to a very strong lead out scoring the Thunder in the first 36- 29. Second quarter the thunder came towering back strong out scoring the rockets in the second 33-21. Second half in the third both teams came out strong both scoring 30 points keeping it very evenly matched but the Thunder would be leading the Rockets by a few points. Fourth quarter the Rockets explode and out score the thunder in the fourth 35-27. Avoiding the season sweep of the Oklahoma city thunder. James Harden would put up a career high amount of points 46 points. Leading scorers for the Houston Rockets were James Harden with 46 points , 8 rebounds, and 6 ast and Jeremy Lin with 29 points, 8 ast, and 6 rebounds. Leading scorers for the Oklahoma City Thunder were Kevin Durant with 16 points , 11ast, and 12 rebounds and Russell Westbrook with 28 points , 10 rebounds, and 8 ast. The Houston Rockets would go on to win it 122-119 adding momentum to the second half of there season.
