NFL SUNDAY

On Sunday one of the oldest rivalry match-ups took place in the WASHINGTON REDSKINS vs DALLAS COWBOYS . The redskins came into this game struggling with a 1-4 record. The cowboys came into the game 2-3 on the season. First quarter the cowboys would get out to a early lead, with a touchdown run from DeMarco Murray, to put the cowboys up 7-0. The redskins would respond with a Kai Forbath kicking a 20 yard field goal, to make the score at the end of the first quarter 7-3. Second quarter the cowboys would put together another touchdown score, but it would be on a 86 yard punt return with Dwayne Harris carrying. The redskins would respond back with Kai Forbath kicking  a 32 yard field goal to end the half. Second half the redskins would come out ready to battle and cut into the 14-9 deficit. The redskins would score the first points of the third quarter with a 33 yard field from Kai Forbath. The cowboys would respond back with a touchdown drive, with Tony Romo leading the way, throwing a 15 yard pass to Terrance Williams. The redskins would respond with a Alfred Morris kicking a 45 yard field goal to end the quarter. Fourth quarter the cowboys would score a 30 yard field goal with Dan Bailey leading the way. The following drive for the Cowboys, Joseph Randle ran one yard for a cowboys touchdown. The cowboys would go on to win it 31-16.
