NFL WEEK 8

Week 8 of the NFL season was under way,  Sunday as we witnessed a incredible match-up between two NFC conference rivals the  NEW YORK GIANTS and the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES. The Eagles came into this game with a record of 3-4 and have struggled ever since their quarter back Michael Vick has went out with a injury. The team was hoping after Sunday's  game they could gain some momentum back that they lost over the past few weeks. The New York giants came into this game with a record of 1-6. The giants had their trouble starting the season, but bounced back in week 7 of the season to put them back on track to be 10-6 on the season and  make it to the playoffs. First quarter the giants would surge out to a early lead with two offensive drives resulting in a 40 yard and 44 yard field goal by field goal kicker Josh Brown, to put them ahead 6-0 by the end of the first quarter. The eagles would be unable to score in the first quarter. Second quarter the giants would continue to out score the eagles, with two more scoring drives resulting in a 33 yard and 46 yard field goal by field goal kicker Josh Brown. The eagles would be unable convert  for the second straight quarter. Second half both teams would struggle in the third quarter, both unable to translate in the third quarter. Fourth quarter the giants came out very strong with another scoring drive resulting in a 27 yard field goal from kicker Josh Brown. The eagles would rebound with a touch down drive of there own with a 2 yard fumble return with Najee Goode making the score and the extra point by eagles kicker Alex Henery. The giants would go on to win the game 15-7. The Philadelphia Eagles would fall to 3-5 and the New York Giants would advance to 2-6.
