MLB TUESDAY

Tonight's Major League Baseball game of the evening were the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES vs CLEVELAND INDIANS. The Phillies came into this game with a record of 12-14. The Indians came into this game with a record of 10-13. First inning the phillies would come up empty, but the indians would have some very good runs. Santana of the indians hit a home run to right, that helped him and Kipnis get runs, later in the inning Reynolds would hit a home run to right that would also help him and Giambi get runs in, making the score 4-0. Second inning the phillies would answer back with Young hitting a huge home run to right field, making the score 4-1, the indians wouldn't score in the second. Third inning both teams would come up short, both scoring zero runs in the third. Fourth inning the phillies would come up short, but the indians would have some big runs. Chisenhall hit a huge home run to right helping himself and Reynolds get scores in, later in the inning Cabera would hit a single to right , helping Raburn get a major run in for the indians and Stubbs would also get a run in making the score 8-1. Fifth inning the phillies would come up short again, but the indians would get some huge scores in. Raburn of the indians hit a home run to left field, helping Giambi and him self get runs in for the indians, later in the inning Bentley would hit a home run to right, and would also help Stubbs of the indians get home as well making the score 12-1. Sixth inning the phillies would try to cut the deficit with Utley hitting a major home run to center field making the score 2-12, the indians wouldn't score in the sixth. Seventh the phillies would come up empty, but the indians Raburn and Stubs hit home runs to left field,adding 2 more runs to the indians total. Neither team would score in the final two innings (8th and 9th), the indians would go on to win it 14-2.

NBA TUESDAY (Playoffs)

Tonight's key match-up of the evening were the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS  vs DENVER NUGGETS.The warriors came into this game up 3-1 in the series, so if they wanted to end the series tonight they had to make this game a must win. The nuggets came into this game down in the series 1-3, so this was a must win game tonight against the warriors. First quarter the nuggets came out very strong proving they did have a purpose, out scoring the warriors 36-22. Second quarter the nuggets would continue there dominance, out scoring the warriors 30-24. Second half the warriors would fight back out scoring the nuggets in the third 23-20. Fourth quarter the warriors would out score the nuggets 31-21. Leading scorers for the nuggets were Andre Iguodala with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 ast. and Ty Lawson with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 ast. Leading scorers for the warriors were Harrison Barnes with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Stephen Curry with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 ast. The nuggets would go on to win this game 107-100, extending there series 2-3.

NBA MONDAY (PLAY-OFFS)

Today was the first day where the NBA's first series's of the playoffs had ended, the Miami heat vs Milwaukee Bucks series was ended last night when the heat sweep the bucks in 4 games. The Next sweep of the evening were the San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Lakers, the lakers hadn't been sweep in the first round of the play offs since 1967.

Tonight's first match up of he evening were the BROOKLYN NETS vs CHICAGO BULLS . The nets came into this game down 1-3 in the series, so this was a must win game tonight if they wanted to continue there season. The bulls came into this game with a record of 3-1 in this series, so this was a must win for them as well if they wanted to get this series over with. First quarter the nets came out very strong out scoring the bulls in the first 26-21. Second quarter the nets would continue there domination out scoring the bulls in the second 26-23. Second half the the bulls would make a attempt to get back into the game out scoring the nets 29-25. Fourth quarter the nets would out score the bulls 33-18. Leading scorers for the Nets were Brook Lopez with 28 points 10 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Deron Williams with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 ast. Leading scorers for the bulls were Nate Robinson with 20 points, 1 rebound and 8 ast. and Jimmy Butler with 18 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 ast. The nets would go on to win this very important game 110-91.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the ATLANTA HAWKS vs INDIANA PACERS. The Hawks came into this game with a record of 1-2. The Pacers would come into this game up 2-1 in the series. The Hawks would go on to win this game 102-91 making the series 2-2.

NFL updates (Draft, Trades, and cuts)

These past few days for the NFL have been very interesting. Teams such as the New York Jets  have made some very interesting decisions drawing alot of attention to there franchise. In the 2013 NFL Draft the New York Jets picked up leading quarter back for West Virginia Geno Smith,  in the second round which raised questions about the franchise. Since the jets already had starting quarter back Mark Sanchez and back up quarter back Tim Tebow, this drew alot of attention to the franchise. Earlier this morning, after failing to get any draft picks  for Tim Tebow, he was cut earlier this morning by the jets General Manager, which has drew even more attention to the franchise.  Another startling developing story in the NFL is the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles made a interesting pick in the draft to select quarter back Matt Barkley , starting quarter back for the USC Trojans , which raises questions over there franchise,and starting quarter back Michael Vick. Is Michael Vick's career over with in Philadelphia? The eagles also have some interesting decisions to make in there franchise to see who there starting quarter back will be . Another developing story in the NFL are the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers last season had a losing record in the NFL , but were hoping in the draft they could get there team back to where it was few years ago with some minor changes. The chargers in the second round picked up linebacker Manti Te'o. The chargers aldo got some key defensive players in the draft as well to bring there teams back to where it used to be. There team is a team to watch next year.

PENN RELAYS

Saturday was the start of the official out door track season. Since this isn't a olympic year the pressure isn't as high in 2013. It is a World Championship year so everyone wanted to assess where they are, as to the rest of the world. There were alot of tight races, but the U.S swept the relays. In the college Division the Aggies adn Ducks were sweeping the relays as well. On the collegiate womens side the Lady Ducks would go on to win the meet. On the Collegiate mens side the Aggies would win the meet. Over all this was assesing meet for the professional Athletes to see where the rest of the world was, as it gets closer to the world championships. MLB SUNDAY

Tonight's game of the evening were the WASHINGTON NATIONALS vs CINCINNATI REDS. The Nationals came into this game with a record of 13-11. The reds came into this game with a record of 13-12. First inning the nationals would fall short, and wouldn't score any runs, the reds would get out to a strong led with Votto and Cozart getting major runs , to put them up 2-0. Second inning the Nationals would come up short, but the reds would score. The reds Votto would hit a single to right helping Cingrani get a major run in for the reds, putting the reds up 3-0. Third inning both teams would come up empty, neither scoring any runs. Fourth inning the nationals would come up empty, but reds Miller would get a run in, to extended the cincinnati led to 4-0. Fifth and Sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning the reds would come up empty, this was the nationals chance to cut into the defect and they did. The nationals Suzuki would hit a double to deep left, sending Desmond home to get a run in for the nationals, making the score 1-4. Eighth inning the reds Cozart would hit a fly ball to left to help his team make Millers get in to make a run, the nationals Desmond would hit a double to right helping Harper get run in as well, making the score 5-2. Neither team would score the rest of the game. The Reds would go on to win it 5-2.

NBA SUNDAY (PLAYOFFS)

Today's first game of the day were the BOSTON CELTICS vs NEW YORK KNICKS. The Celtics came into this game down in there series 0-3, so this was a must win tonight, if they wanted there season to extend past this game. The Knicks came into this game, up 3-0 in there series, last game there leading guard J.R Smith was ejected from the game because of his disorderly conduct, so they had to finish off the game with out him. The Knicks would find out yesterday that there leading guard J.R. Smith would be suspended for this game. First quarter the the celtics would get out to a strong led, out scoring the knicks in the first 22-17. Second quarter the celtics would out score the knicks 32-18. Second half the knicks would make a come back and would get right back into this game out scoring the celtics in the third 30-14. Fourth quarter the knicks would out score the celtics 19-16 sending the game into overtime. In over time the celtics, knowing there season was on the line played a hard fault overtime out scoring the knicks 13-6. Leading scorers for the celtics were Paul Pierce with 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 ast. and Kevin Garnett with 13 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 ast. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Raymond Felton with 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 ast. The Celtics would pull out the desperate win, winning it 97-90.

Today's second game of the day were the MIAMI HEAT vs MILWAUKEE BUCKS . The Miami heat came into this game up 3-0 in the series. The Bucks came into this game down 0-3 in the series. The Miami heat would go on to win it 88-77.

NBA SATURDAY (Playoffs)

Today's first match-up of the evening were the BROOKLYN NETS  vs CHICAGO BULLS . The Brooklyn nets came into this game down in the series 1-2, so this was must win game for the nets if they planned to get back in the series and win it. The bulls came into this game up 2-1 in this series, they wanted to get the series over with as soon as possible, so this was must win for them as well. First quarter both teams would come out strong, but the nets would out score the bulls 26-25. Second quarter the bulls would out score the nets 33-29. Second half the nets would come out very strong out scoring the bulls in the third 29-18. Fourth quarter the bulls would come back and would out score the nets 35-27, sending the game into overtime. During the fourth quarter with 4 minutes left in the game the nets had a 14 point led.  In triple over time the bulls would take away the win 142-134. Leading scorer for the nets were Deron Williams 32 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 ast. Leading scorers for the bulls were Nate Robinson with 34 points, 1 rebound, and 4 ast. and Joakim Noah with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 ast. The Bulls would go on to win it, in a  hard fought game 142-134, making the series 3-1.

Today's second game of the evening were the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS vs MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES. The Clippers came into this game up in the series 2-1 over the grizzles. The Grizzles came into this game down 1-2 to the clippers, this was a must win game for the grizzlies . First quarter the Grizzlies would get out to a very strong led, out scoring the Clippers in the first few minutes by more then 10 points, but by the end of the quarter the Grizzlies were leading by 33-25. Second quarter the the Clippers would out score the Grizzlies 22-13. Second half the Grizzlies would come out very strong, out scoring the Clippers 25-20. Fourth quarter the Grizzlies would out score the Clippers 33-16. Tonight's major league baseball game of the evening are the ATLANTA BRAVES vs DETROIT TIGERS. The Atlanta Braves came into this game with a record of 15-6. The Detroit Tigers came into this game with a record of 10-10. The First two inning both teams would come up empty, both scoring zero runs. Third inning the braves would come up empty, but the tigers Hunter would come up big, getting a single hit to center, helping Infante get a run in. Later in the inning Cabrera and Martinez would score. Putting the tigers up 4-0. Fourth inning the braves would come up empty again, but the tigers would come up big. Cabera would hit a single to right field helping Jackson get home, later on in the inning Hunter would get another score in for the Tigers. Martinez would later on in the inning hit a strong double to left field helping Cabera get another score in for the tigers. NBA PLAYOFF2013 (injure update)

This season's playoffs have had some hard hitting injuries that have hurt alot of high ranked playoff teams in the NBA. The First big injury of the heading into the second half of the season were the Celtics leading guard Rajon Rondo. Rajon Rondo was hit with a very devastating injury in the the earlier part of year.This was a very devastating injury for not only the Celtics but for everyone else in the NBA because that meant that the Celtics probably didn't have a chance in making the playoffs. The NBA knew this was a big lost for the league. Rajon Rondo tore his ACL and couldn't return until next season he will be out indefinitely. The Next big injury for the NBA, was when  Kobe Bryant had went down. Kobe Bryant's team has struggled all season but when he was injured in one of the last games of there season it was very devastating, it hurt there playoff potentials. Kobe Bryant brought his losing record team from not being a playoff seed to a number 7 seed in the playoffs. Kobe Bryant was hit in Early April with a torn achele's injure. The most recent injure in these playoffs, that will effect the out come as well, is leading guard for the Oklahoma City thunder Russell Westbrook. On Friday April 26 he was informed that he had a torn meniscus and would be out indefinitely, and could potential hurt there chances to making it to the finals, which could impact the playoffs...... What will be the next injury be that will effect the 2013 playoffs?

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ASTROS vs BOSTON RED SOX's. The Astros came into this game 7-14. The Astros had a break out win there first game of the season, but have struggled since. The Red Sox came into this game with a record of 14-7. First inning the redsox would get out to a strong lead with Pedroia, hitting a strong ball to center helping Nava get a score in. Pedroia and Ortiz and Carp would score later in the inning,putting the redsox up 4-0, the astros would come up scoreless in the first. Second inning the red sox would come up scoreless, but the astros would make a effort to cut into the deafest. Carter of the astros would get a much needed run in after Dominguez would hit a ground ball, making the score 4-1. Third inning the astros Castro would hit a single, to right field helping Gonzalez make it home, but the red sox would also make a score, Ortiz would get a home run making the score 5-2. Fourth inning both teams would come up scoreless. Fifth inning the astros would come up scoreless, but the redsox Ortiz and Carps would get runs, putting the redsox up 7-2. Neither team would score the rest of the game. The Red sox would go on to win it 7-2.

First inning the mets would come up empty,but the dodgers Kemp would hit a single to left field that would help Crawford make a run in for the Dodgers putting them up 1-0. The Second inning through the fifth inning neither teams would score. Sixth inning the dodgers would come up empty, but the mets Wright would hit a fly ball to center field, to help his team mate Tejada get score in making the score 1-1. The Seventh and eighth inning both teams would come up empty both scoring zero runs. Ninth inning the dodgers Ethier would hit a single to center helping Punto to get home a make a run, later in the inning Kemp would get another run in for the dodgers, but the Mets had still one last chance to bat and get some much needed last minute runs in. The mets Davis would get a home run in, but it wouldn't be enough. The dodgers would go on to win it 3-2.

The nets came into this game, winning the first match-up but losing the second match-up, with the series tied at 1-1. The Bulls would go on to win it 79-76, putting them up in the series 2-1.

The Rockets came into game 2 getting blown out by 29 the first game of this series, the rockets were hopeing this would be the game where they could redeem themselves. The Thunder came into this series the number 1 seed overall in the Western Conference. The Thunder came off a great win in game one. First quarter both teams would come out very strong, within the first few minutes the rockets had taken a 7-4 led over the Thunder, but by the end of the quarter the thunder would have battled back out scoring the rockets 29-28. Second quarter the rockets would come out very strong leading by 3 points at one point during the middle of the quarter but the thunder would battle back and would out score the rockets 28-27. Second half the thunder would come out very strong out scoring the rockets 21-17. Fourth quarter the rockets would battle back out scoring the thunder 30-27. Leading scorers for the rockets were James Harden with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 ast.and Patrick Beverly with 16 points, 6 ast., and 12 rebounds. The Miami heat came into this game up 1-0 in the series. First quarter the Miami heat would out score the bucks 25 to 23 ,but the bucks believed they could stay in the game . Second quarter Miami would out score the bucks 22-20, going into half time the heat would just up by 4 to the bucks. Second half the bucks would out score the heat 22-21, putting them only 3 points behind Miami giving them a chance in this game to make the series 1-1. Fourth quarter the heat would prove to be to much for the bucks out scoring the bucks 30-21. Fourth inning the Rays would come up empty but Cano of the Yankees would contribute to the Yankees effort of battling back, getting a very important home run in, making the score 5-1. Neither team would score the rest of the game. The Rays would go on to win it 5-1.

The Nationals came into this game with a record of 10-8. These two teams were very evenly matched teams, which meant that this was going to be a very evenly match up. Second half the knicks would come out ready to fight back out scoring the Celtics in the third 18-17. Fourth quarter the knicks would dominate the Celtics holding them to 8 points in the fourth. The Knicks would score 18 points in the fourth. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Raymond Felton with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 6 ast. Tonight's match-up of the evening was a playoff match-up , the UTAH JAZZ vs MEMPHIS GRIZZLES . The Utah Jazz came into this game as  number 9 seed in the Western Conference and were looking for a win tonight to give them the possibility of a play off birth . The Utah Jazz came into this game with a record of 43-38. The Memphis Grizzles came into this game as number 5 seed and with a win tonight, and a lost for the Clippers, the Grizzles would move up to the number 4 seed, so this was very important game for them as well. Tonight  everyone will be watching to see what teams make the playoff's in the Western Conference. This should be a very interesting night especially for the Western Conference teams espeically the teams that are in the 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th spot.

Tonight's key match-up of the evening were the KANSAS CITY ROYALS vs ATLANTA BRAVES. The Kansas City Royals came into this game with a record of 7-5. The Atlanta Braves came into this game with a record of 11-1. First inning both teams would come up short, both teams not scoring any runs. Second inning the Royals would come up empty with zero runs, but the Atlanta braves Fransico would hit a home run to put them up 1-0. Third inning the Braves would come up empty, but the royals Getz would get a home run in for the royals , making the score 1-1. Fourth inning the Braves would come up empty handed but the royals Francoeur would get a single hit that would help Perez score for the royals, which would put them up 2-1. Fifth and Sixth inning both teams would come up empty handed. Seventh inning the Royals would come up empty handed but the braves, Francisco would hit a home run that would tie the game at 2-2. Eighth inning the royals would come up empty handed , but the braves would come up big, with Heyward, Upton, and Uggla all scoring home runs for the braves and also Schafer getting a base hit but then reaching home to get them another score. Ninth inning the braves would come up empty handed but the royals would try to catch up by Getz scoring for the royals but it wouldn't be enough. The Braves would go on to win there 12th game of the year 6-3.

The Miami heat came into this game as the over all best team in the NBA and would become the best team headed into the play-offs in the next few days. The Miami heat came into this game with a record of 64-16. The Cavaliers came into this game struggling but the cavaliers came into this game with a record of 24-56. First quarter the Cleveland Cavaliers came out, out scoring the Miami heat 22-18 in the first. Second quarter the Miami heat came out , out scoring the cavaliers 31-30. Second half the Miami heat would fight back , out scoring the cavaliers 31-19. Fourth quarter the cavaliers would battle back out scoring the cavaliers 24-16. The Miami heat would go on to win it 96-95.

This is the last full week of the regular season before we get into the playoffs. Tonight is one of the last nights of the regular season and there are some great match-ups tonight. Tonight match-ups of the evening  start off with the  HOUSTON ROCKETS vs  PHOENIX SUNS and CLEVELAND CAVALIERS vs MIAMI HEAT .

The First prediction that will be made, is for the first match-up of the evening which are the HOUSTON ROCKETS  vs  PHOENIX SUNS. The Rockets are coming into this game a number 6 seed in the Western Conference , tied with golden state for the 6th place spot. The Rockets are coming into this game with a record of 45-35. The Phoenix suns are coming into this game trying to end there season out strong and maybe pull a few upsets at the end of the season. The Phoenix suns are coming into this game with a record of 24-56. The Rockets offense is going to be very  hard to contain for the Phoenix suns but if they can stop the rockets on offense, they might have a chance to win this game. My pick is that the Rockets will get the win tonight.

The Second prediction that will be made will be for the second match-up of the evening which are the MIAMI HEAT  vs CLEVELAND CAVALIERS. The Miami heat are coming into this game with a record of 64-16 and the number one team in the league right now. The Cleveland cavaliers are coming into this game trying to put up a few wins before the end of the season. The Cavaliers are coming into this game with a record of 24-56. Since the season is winding down and the Miami heat are by far the best team in the NBA right now, I believe the Cavaliers will win , just because the Miami heat will let most of there players sit out during the game because the post season is about to begin in a few days .

The First and second inning both teams would get off to a slow start and both teams would come up empty with zero runs. Third inning the rays would come up empty, but the Redsox Napoli would hit a deep ball that would get the Red Sox a double with both Elisbury and Victorino scoring. Later in the inning the redsox Napoli and Nava would also get runs in for the Red Sox, putting the redsox up 4-0. The Fourth through Seventh inning both teams would come up empty. Eighth inning Rays would come up empty but Pedroia would get a score in for the Red sox, putting them up 5-0. Both teams wouldn't score in the ninth. The Red Sox would go on to win it 5-0. Second quarter the Rockets would dominate again, out scoring the Kings  29-20. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the Clippers would get the edge out scoring the Grizzles in the first 24-23. Second quarter the Grizzles would get the edge out scoring the Clippers in the second 28-27. Second half the Grizzles would come out dominating out scoring the Clippers 22-17. Fourth quarter the Clippers would fight back and would dominate out scoring the Grizzles in the fourth 23-14. The first game of the day were the BROOKLYN NETS vs INDIANA PACERS. The nets fighting to get a better seat for the play offs in the Eastern Conference. The nets came into this game with a record of 46-32. The Pacers came into this game proving they could catch the Knicks and get the second seed in the Eastern Conference, and they believed a win would put them in that position. The pacers came into this game with a record of 49-29. The Brooklyn Nets would win this game , and guard for the nets Deron Williams  would led them with the win with over the Pacers 117-109.

The Second game of the evening were the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS vs NEW ORLEANS HORNETS. The Clippers came into this game finally gaining the respect of the media and of L.A. as being "the basketball team of Los Angeles" and also,  trying to battle back to the top of the Western Conference before the playoffs start. The Clippers came into this game with a record of 52-26. The Hornets came into this game trying to beat a few teams before the regular season ends the hornets came into this game with a record of 27-52. The Clippers would go on to win with there headlining player Blake Griffin leading the way with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 ast, the help the Clippers get the win 96-93.

MLB THURSDAY

The game of the evening were the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS vs CHICAGO CUBS. The Giants came into this game with a record of 6-3. The Cubs came into this game with a record of 3-5. First inning both teams came up empty. Second inning the Giants would come up empty, the cubs Lillibridge would get a hit on the ground and Schierholtz would score for the cubs putting them up 1-0. Third inning the giants would come empty again, although the cubs would come up big , Rizzo would hit a home run sending him and Castro home. On a later play in the innning Schierholtz and Castillo would score, putting the cubs up 5-0. Fourth inning the cubs would come up empty, but the Giants would begin to start on there come back from being down 5-0. The Giants Vogelsang would get a run in for them, later in the inning Pagan of the giants would get a single , base hit in sending Noonan home. Later in the inning Pagan and Vogelsang get a run in for the giants, the giants would only be down one. Fifth inning  the cubs would come up empty again, but the Giants would come up big again. Belt and Blanco of the giants would score for the giants, later in the inning Noonan would score the for the giants, the giants would be up 7-5. Sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Tonight's final match-up of the evening were the LOUISVILLE CARDINALS vs CONNECTICUT HUSKIES. The Cardinals came into this tournament as a number 5 seed. The Cardinals came into this game with a record of 29-8. The Huskies came into the tournament as the number 1 seed on there end of the bracket. The Huskies came into this game with a record of 34-4. First half the Huskies would come out dominating the Cardinals in the first half, holding the Cardinals to 29 points in the first half. NCAA TOURNAMENT (WOMEN'S) Championship Game Prediction

Tonight is the night that the women's basketball NCAA championship will take place. The Two teams that are playing for the National Championship are LOUISVILLE CARDINALS  vs CONNECTICUT HUSKIES. Both of these teams have had completely different paths to the final four. The lady Cardinals were not expected to get past the sweet 16, but they surprised the world and the nation when they beat number 1 seed overall the Baylor Lady Bears. The Cardinals would soon go on to beat  Tennessee and Cal Berkeley to make it to the final game of the tournament. The Huskies have had a completely different path. Even though the Huskies were the number one seed on there end of the bracket they have had to play some very tough game just to get to the final game of this tournament. In the Huskies last match-up against Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish were predicted to win, because they had beaten the lady huskies 3 times during the regualar season. The Lady Huskies put everything aside that happened during the regular season, and went out and dominated against the Fighting Irish. A lot of there players who usually didn't score, scored alot of points for them came up big when it mattered. Based on this I predict that the Lady Huskies will win the championship because they have a size advantage over the lady cardinals and they have weapons on offense and defense , that the cardinals are going to have a very hard time matching up against.

The Cardinals record coming into this game was 28-8. The Golden Bears came into this game a number 2 seed on there end of the bracket. The Golden Bears record coming into this game was 32-3. First half the Golden Bears would get out to a very strong lead out scoring the Cardinals in the first half 37-27.Second half the tables would turn, the Cardinals would out score the Golden Bears by over 17 points, and the cardinals would out score the Golden Bears in the second half 37-20. The Fighting Irish came into this game as a number 1 seed on there end of the bracket, and since the Number 1 seed overall Baylor was knocked out of the tournament, they were the next team in line picked to win the tournament. The Fighting Irish came into this game with a record of 35-1. The Huskies came into this game as number 1 seed as well on there end of the bracket. The Huskies came into this game losing to the Irish, in three other meetings during the season, so this game was a very important win. The Huskies came into this game with a record of 39-29. First half the Huskies came out and dominating Fighting Irish out scoring them 39-29. Second half the Fighting Irish would struggle again and the Huskies would out score them again 44-36. Second quarter the Knicks would battle back and would come up big, out scoring the the thunder in the second 35-25. Second half the thunder would battle back out scoring the knicks in the third 33-31. Fourth quarter the knicks would out score the thunder 31-29. The Shockers came into this game with  record of 30-8. The Cardinals came into the NCAA tournament as a number 1 seed overall in the entire tournament. The Cardinals came into this game with a record of 33-5. First half the Shockers came out very strong, out scoring the Cardinals in the first few minutes 8-0, but the Cardinals would come back and would take the lead 9-8 in the next few minutes, by the end of the half the Shockers would have won the battle in the first half out scoring the Cardinals in the first 26-25. Second half the Shockers came out very strong getting a 12 point lead on the Cardinals with 13 minutes to go, but the cardinals would prove to be to much for the Shockers, out scoring the Shockers in the second half  47-42. Leading scorers for the Cardinals were Russ Smith with 21 points ,2 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Chane Behanan with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the Shockers were Clearanthony Early with 24 points and 10 rebounds and Malcolm Armstead with 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 ast. The cardinals would go on to win it 72-68.

The Second match-up of the night were the SYRACUSE ORANGE vs MICHIGAN WOLVERINES . Both of these teams came into the NCAA tournament as number 4 seeds, so they weren't expected to get past the sweet 16 or elite 8, but they had defied all odds and had made it to the Final Four. The Syracuse Orange came into this game with a record of 30-9. The Michigan Wolverines came into this game with a record of 30-7. First half both teams would be neck and neck, but by the end of the half the Wolverines went on a run, out scoring the Orange 36-25. Second half the Orange would battle back scoring 31 points and out scoring the Wolverines 31-25, but it wouldn't be enough. Leading scorers for the Orange were C.J. Fair 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Brandon Triche 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the Wolverines were Tim Hardaway Jr. with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 ast. and Mitch McGary with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 ast. The Wolverines would go on to win it 61-56. (Syracuse guard Michael Carter-Williams playing the Syracuse zone defense to try and block Michigan Guard Trey Burke's shot. )

NBA FRIDAY

Tonight's matchup of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs CHARLOTTE BOBCATS. The Miami heat came into this game , being the number one seed in the Eastern conference and having the best record in the NBA. The Miami heat came into this game with a record of 58-16 only losing one game in the past two months. The Charloette bobcats came into this game with a record of 18-57. First quarter. the Miami heat came out very strong out scoring the bobcats 26-22 in the first. Second quarter the bobcats would fight back out scoring the Miami heat 23-22. Second half the Miami heat would come back and would out score the bobcats in the third 18-8. Fourth quarter the bobcats would out score the heat 26-23 but it wouldn't be enough . Leading scorers for the MIAMI heat were Mike Miller with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 ast. and MArio Chalmers with 6 points, 1 rebounds, and 7 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it with out Lebron James and Dewayne Wade, the heat would go on to win it .

MLB THURSDAY

Tonight's Major League Baseball game of the day were the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES vs  ATLANTA BRAVES . The Phillies came into this game with a record of 0-2. The Atlanta Braves came into this game with a record of 2-0, so this game was very big for the braves if they wanted to extend there winning streak. Firs inning both teams would come up scoreless. Second inning the Braves came up scoreless again but the Phillies would score, Nix and Kratz would get the two runs the phillies would need to get the led in this game. Neither team would score the rest of the game. This Phillies would go on to win it 2-0 preventing a series sweep. (Cliff Lee going 8 straight innings going scoreless helping the Phillies avoid the sweep by the braves)

NBA WEDNESDAY

Tonight's NBA first match-up of the evening were the  NEW YORK KNICKS vs ATLANTA HAWKS . The New York Knicks came into this game on a 9 game winning streak. The knicks came into this game with a record of 47-26. The Atlanta Hawks came into this game wanting to win this last stretch of games so that they could get better seating in the playoffs, so this game was very big for them as well. The Atlanta Hawks came into this game with a record of 42-33. First quarter the knicks came out very strong out scoring the hawks in the first 23-18. Second quarter the knicks continued there great play of offense out scoring the Hawks in the second 24-22, Carmelo Anthony would score 24 points in the first half, helping the Knicks out a lot in the first half. Second half the hawks would battle back out scoring the knicks in the third 28-21. Fourth quarter the knicks would prove to be to much for the hawks putting up a dominating performance out scoring the hawks in the fourth 27-14. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 40 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Jason Kidd with 5 rebounds and 7 ast. Leading scorer for the hawks were Kyle Korver had 25 points and 6 rebounds. The Knicks would go on to get the win 95-82.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ROCKETS vs SACRAMENTO KINGS . The Rockets came into this game a game as a number 7 seed , just a game behind the golden state worriers in the Western Conference. The Rockets came into this game with a record of 41-33. The Kings came into this game with a record of 27-47. (Rockets guard Jeremy Lin going in for the lay up and Sacramento defenders try to keep up). The rockets would go on to win it 112-102.

NCAA TOURNAMENT (Women's)

Tonight's key match-up of the evening were the LOUISVILLE CARDINALS vs TENNESSEE LADY VOLUNTEERS . The cardinals came into this game defeating all odds and beating the number 1 seed in the entire tournament the Baylor Lady Bears. The cardinals came into the tournament as a number 5 seed in there region. The cardinals came into this game with a record of 27-8. The Volunteers came into the tournament as a number 2 seed in there region. The Volunteers came into this game with a record of 27-8. First half both teams came out very strong, but the Cardinals had a dominating performance against the Volunteers in the first half 41-26. Second half the the volunteers made a comeback scoring 52 points and the cardinals scored 45. Leading scorers for the cardinals were S. Schimmel with 24 points and Smith with 9 rebounds and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the volunteers were Spani with 20 points, and Graves with 10 rebounds. The Cardinals would go on to pull another upset knocking out the number 2 seed in there region the lady volunteers 86-78. (the lady cardinals getting there team together so they could pull the win out)

MLB TUESDAY

Tonight's major league game of the evening were the CLEVELAND INDIANS vs TORONTO BLUE JAYS . This game was the Indians season opener, and they were hoping with a win tonight,it could get them off to a great season start. This game was the season opener as well, for the Blue Jays and they were hopeing this game would get there season off to a positive start. First inning both teams came up empty handed with zero runs. Second inning the blue jays came up empty handed again but the Indians scored twice by players Brantley and Reynolds. Third inning the Blue Jays faught back, and would score one run from Cebrera, but the Indians came up empty handed in the third inning. Fourth inning both teams came up empty handed. Fifth inning the Indians would get two runs, one by Bourn. Both teams wouldn't score again in the rest of the game. The Indians would go on to win it 4-1. Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the KENTUCKY WILDCATS vs CONNECTICUT HUSKIES. The lady Wildcats came into the tournament as a number 2 seed. The Wildcats came into this game with a record of 30-5.The lady wildcats were hopeing this game would be the game that would take them to the final four. The lady Huskies came into the tournament as number 1 seed. The lady Huskies came into this came with a record of 32-4. The huskies came into the game hopeing with a win tonight, they had a very high chance of winning the championship since the lady baylor bears had been taken out on Sunday. First half the Huskies came out very strong and out scoreing the wildcats in the first half 48-26. Second half the huskies would continue there domination  and would out score the wildcats in the second half 35-27. Leading scorers for the wildcats were Mathies 14 points, Stallworth with 8 rebounds, and Evans with 3 ast. Leading scorers for the huskies were Brenna Stewart with 21 points and Kelly Farris with 12 points  and 7 rebounds.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the GEORGIA BULLDOGS vs CALIFORNIA BEARS. The Bears came into the tournament as a number 2 seed. The Bears came into this game with a record of 28-3. The bulldogs came into the tournament as a number 4 seed. The Bulldogs came into the game with a record of 25-6. First half the Bull dogs came out very strong out scoring CAL in the first half 26-21. Second half the Bears came back, out scoring the Bulldogs 31-26 sending the game into over time. In over time the CAL would out score the bulldogs 13-10. Leading scorers for the bears were Clarendon with 25 points, Gray 11 rebounds, and Boyd 5 ast. Leading scorers for the bulldogs were Barbee with 14 points and 10 rebounds and James with 5 ast. The Bears would come out with the win out scoring Georgia 65-62.

MLB MONDAY

Tonight's Major League Baseball game of the day were the BOSTON RED SOX  vs  NEW YORK YANKEES. This was opening day for both teams and both teams were hopeing this would be the game that would get there season off to a great start. The Red Sox came into this game ready to play and ready to prove themselves. The Yankees came into this game ready to start off on a clean slate and forget about what happened last season in the play offs, they were ready to get there season started. First inning both teams came up with zero runs. Second inning the Yankees came up empty handed with two straight innings of no runs but the red sox's Saltalamacchia,Bradley Jr., Iglesias, and Ellsbury would score 4 runs for the red sox's. Third inning both teams came up empty handed. Fourth inning the redsox would come up empty handed, but the yankees would try to make a come back with Youkilis and Wells both scored runs for the yankees. Fifth inning both teams came up empty. Sixth inning both teams came up empty as well. Seventh inning the Yankees came up empty but the red sox's Middlebrooks made a very crucial run for the red sox's putting them ahead by 3 runs. Eight inning both teams came up empty. Ninth inning the Yankees wouldn't score but the red sox would come up big, by scoring 3 crucial runs by Saltalamacchia, Gomes, and BradleyJr. scoring for the red sox's . The redsox would get there season off to a great start, going on to win it 8-2.
