NBA SATURDAY (playoffs round 1) (day 1)

The first game of the day were the NEW YORK KNICKS vs BOSTON CELTICS. The Knicks came into this play offs as a number 2 seed. The Celtics came into the playoffs as a number 7 seed. First quarter the Celtics would come out very strong out scoring the Celtics 29-26. Second quarter the Celtics would continue there great play of basketball out scoring the knicks 24-23. Second half the knicks would come out ready to fight back out scoring the Celtics in the third 18-17. Fourth quarter the knicks would dominate the Celtics holding them to 8 points in the fourth. The Knicks would score 18 points in the fourth. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Raymond Felton with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 6 ast. Leading scorers for the Celtics were Jeff Green 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Paul Pierce 21 points, 7ast., and 5 rebounds. The Knicks would go on to win it 85-78.

The second match-up were the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS vs MEMPHIS GRIZZLES. The Clippers came into this playoffs as a number 4 seed. The Grizzles came into the playoffs as number 5 seed. First quarter the Clippers would get out to a strong lead out scoring the Grizzles 29-21 in the first quarter. Second quarter the Grizzles would fight back outscoring the Clippers 30-28. Second half both teams would score 18 in the third. Fourth quarter the Clippers would finish off the game out scoring the Grizzles 37-22. Leading scorers for the Clippers were Chris Paul with 23 points, 7 ast., and 2 rebounds and DeAndre Jordan with 3 points and 8 rebounds. Leading scorers for the Grizzles with Jerryd Bayless with 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 ast., Ed Davis with 6 points, and 6 rebounds, and Marc Gasol with 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 ast. The Clippers would go on to win it 112-91.
