MLB SUNDAY

Tonight's game of the evening were the WASHINGTON NATIONALS vs CINCINNATI REDS. The Nationals came into this game with a record of 13-11. The reds came into this game with a record of 13-12. First inning the nationals would fall short, and wouldn't score any runs, the reds would get out to a strong led with Votto and Cozart getting major runs , to put them up 2-0. Second inning the Nationals would come up short, but the reds would score. The reds Votto would hit a single to right helping Cingrani get a major run in for the reds, putting the reds up 3-0. Third inning both teams would come up empty, neither scoring any runs. Fourth inning the nationals would come up empty, but reds Miller would get a run in, to extended the cincinnati led to 4-0. Fifth and Sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning the reds would come up empty, this was the nationals chance to cut into the defect and they did. The nationals Suzuki would hit a double to deep left, sending Desmond home to get a run in for the nationals, making the score 1-4. Eighth inning the reds Cozart would hit a fly ball to left to help his team make Millers get in to make a run, the nationals Desmond would hit a double to right helping Harper get run in as well, making the score 5-2. Neither team would score the rest of the game. The Reds would go on to win it 5-2.
