The Nationals came into this game with a record of 7-3. First inning both teams would come up empty. Second inning both teams would come up empty again. Third inning the braves Gattis would hit a home run sending him and Upton home, making the Braves up 2-0, the Nationals wouldn't score in the third. Fourth inning both teams would come up empty. Fifth inning the Braves would come up empty , but the nationals Espinosa would get a huge home run in for the Nationals. Sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning both teams wouldn't score. Eighth inning both teams would come up empty. Ninth inning the Nationals would come up empty, but the braves, Johnson would score. The Braves would go on to win it 3-1. (Nationals player getting a home run to contribute to there win today, but they would come up short)
