Today's game of the day were the TAMPA BAY RAYS vs BOSTON RED SOX. The Rays came into this game with a record of 4-6. The Red Sox came into this game with a record of 6-4. The First and second inning both teams would get off to a slow start and both teams would come up empty with zero runs. Third inning the rays would come up empty, but the Redsox Napoli would hit a deep ball that would get the Red Sox a double with both Elisbury and Victorino scoring. Later in the inning the redsox Napoli and Nava would also get runs in for the Red Sox, putting the redsox up 4-0. The Fourth through Seventh inning both teams would come up empty. Eighth inning Rays would come up empty but Pedroia would get a score in for the Red sox, putting them up 5-0. Both teams wouldn't score in the ninth. The Red Sox would go on to win it 5-0.
