NBA SUNDAY

Today's first game of the day were the NEW YORK KNICKS vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The New York Knicks came into this game as the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks came into this game on a 11 game winning streak. The Knicks came into this game with a record of 49-26. The Thunder came into this game as a number 2 seed as well but in the Western Conference, and was one game behind the Western Conference leader, the San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder came into this game with a record of 56-20. First quarter both teams came out very strong, and ready to win ,but the Thunder would win the battle out scoring the Knicks in the first 31-20. Second quarter the Knicks would battle back and would come up big, out scoring the the thunder in the second 35-25. Second half the thunder would battle back out scoring the knicks in the third 33-31. Fourth quarter the knicks would out score the thunder 31-29. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 36 points and 12 rebounds and Raymond Felton with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorer for the thunder were Russell Westbrook with 37 points, 11 rebounds,and 8 ast. The Knicks would go on to win it 125-120 increasing there winning streak to 12 games.

Today's second match-up of the day was the battle of Los Angeles , LOS ANGELES LAKERS vs LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS. The Los Angeles Clippers came into this game as a number 4 seed in the Western Conference. The Clippers came into this game with a record of 50-26. The Los Angeles Lakers came into this game as a number 8 seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers came into this game with a record of 40-36.The Clippers would go on to win it 109-95.
