NBA WEDNESDAY

Tonight's NBA first match-up of the evening were the  NEW YORK KNICKS vs ATLANTA HAWKS . The New York Knicks came into this game on a 9 game winning streak. The knicks came into this game with a record of 47-26. The Atlanta Hawks came into this game wanting to win this last stretch of games so that they could get better seating in the playoffs, so this game was very big for them as well. The Atlanta Hawks came into this game with a record of 42-33. First quarter the knicks came out very strong out scoring the hawks in the first 23-18. Second quarter the knicks continued there great play of offense out scoring the Hawks in the second 24-22, Carmelo Anthony would score 24 points in the first half, helping the Knicks out a lot in the first half. Second half the hawks would battle back out scoring the knicks in the third 28-21. Fourth quarter the knicks would prove to be to much for the hawks putting up a dominating performance out scoring the hawks in the fourth 27-14. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 40 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Jason Kidd with 5 rebounds and 7 ast. Leading scorer for the hawks were Kyle Korver had 25 points and 6 rebounds. The Knicks would go on to get the win 95-82.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ROCKETS vs SACRAMENTO KINGS . The Rockets came into this game a game as a number 7 seed , just a game behind the golden state worriers in the Western Conference. The Rockets came into this game with a record of 41-33. The Kings came into this game with a record of 27-47. (Rockets guard Jeremy Lin going in for the lay up and Sacramento defenders try to keep up). The rockets would go on to win it 112-102.
