NBA WEDNESDAY (PLAYOFFS) (Game 2)

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ROCKETS vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The Rockets came into this series as the number 8 seed in the Western Conference. The Rockets came into game 2 getting blown out by 29 the first game of this series, the rockets were hopeing this would be the game where they could redeem themselves. The Thunder came into this series the number 1 seed overall in the Western Conference. The Thunder came off a great win in game one. First quarter both teams would come out very strong, within the first few minutes the rockets had taken a 7-4 led over the Thunder, but by the end of the quarter the thunder would have battled back out scoring the rockets 29-28. Second quarter the rockets would come out very strong leading by 3 points at one point during the middle of the quarter but the thunder would battle back and would out score the rockets 28-27. Second half the thunder would come out very strong out scoring the rockets 21-17. Fourth quarter the rockets would battle back out scoring the thunder 30-27. Leading scorers for the rockets were James Harden with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 ast.and Patrick Beverly with 16 points, 6 ast., and 12 rebounds. Leading scorers for the thunder were Kevin Durant with 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 ast. and Russell Westbrook with 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 ast. The Thunder would go on to get a tough, but hard fault win over the rockets 105-102, putting them up 2-0 in the series.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the ATLANTA HAWKS vs INDIANA PACERS. The Pacers came into this series as a number 3 seed. The Pacers came into this game 1-0 in the series. The Hawks came into this game as a number 6 seed. The Hawks came into this game losing to the Pacers in the first match-up, but they were very determined to redeem themselves from the first game. First quarter the Pacers would come out dominating out scoring the Hawks in the first 25-19. Second quarter the Pacers would continue to dominate out scoring the Hawks 34-31. Second half the hawks would try there hardest to fight back but the pacers would out score the hawks in the third 29-26. Fourth quarter the pacers would continue there domination out scoring the hawks 25-22. Leading scorers for the hawks were Al Horford with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 ast and Johan Petro with 4 points, 1 rebound, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were Paul George with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 ast. and George Hill with 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 ast. The Pacers would go on it 113-98, two putting them 2-0 in there series.
