MLB SUNDAY/NBA SUNDAY/ NCAA TOURNEMENT (men's /women's)

The major league baseball season began tonight. The two teams who started off the season were HOUSTON ASTROS vs  TEXAS RANGERS. The Houston Astros came into this game on a good note, after last season disaster they were hopeing this game would start them on a good track. The Texas Rangers came into this game ready to get there season started. First inning both teams came out of it with 0 runs. Second inning both teams also came out of it with 0 runs. Third inning both teams came out of it with 0 runs. Fourth inning the rangers wouldn't score but Wallace and Pena of the Astros would add 2 runs to there bored for the astros. Fifth inning the rangers wouldn't score again but the astros Barnes and Cedeno would go on to score for the astros. Sixth inning the Rangers would knew they were behind 4 runs to zero, the Rangers Murphy and Berkman scored a well needed 2 runs but the astros came back at the end of the inning with Maxwell and Dominguez scoring for the astros making the ball game 2-7. Seventh inning both teams wouldn't score. Eight inning the Rangers wouldn't score but the Astros would go on to score a run by Maxwell. Ninth inning both teams wouldn't score any runs. The Houston Astros would leave a mark out scoring the Texas Rangers 2-8.

Tonight's NBA game of the evening started with the MIAMI HEAT vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. This game was a very big game for both teams. Both teams had the top records in there Eastern and Western Conference so this game was very big for not just them but for the NBA as a whole. The Miami heat came into this game losing one of there last games to the bulls breaking there 27 game winning streak, but they were hopeing this would be the game that would help them bounce back. The Spurs came into this game, as the leading team in the Western Conference. The Miami heat came into this game with a record of 57-15. The San Antonio Spurs came into this game with a record of 55-17. First quarter the spurs would out score the heat 24-22. Second quarter the Spurs would continue there domination and prove they were the best team in the NBA,  out scoring the heat in the second 21-18. Second half the Miami heat would come out fighting back, out scoring the Spurs in the third 31-19. Fourth quarter the spurs would out score the Heat 22-17. Leading scores for the Miami heat were Chris bosh 23 points and 9 rebounds. Leading scores for the Spurs were Tim Duncan with 17 points 12 rebounds and 4 ast. and Tony Parker with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it ,with out there 3 leading scorers (Dwayne Wade, Mario Chalmers, and Lebron James) 88-86 proving they really are the best team in the NBA.

Tonight's second NBA match-up of the evening were BOSTON CELTICS vs NEW YORK KNICKS . The Celtics came into this game with a record of 38-34. The Knicks came into this game with a record of 45-26.(Celtics Paul Pierce trying to gain ball control over Knicks defender Carmelo Anthony) The knicks would go on to win it 108-89.
 
 
Tonight's NCAA TOURNAMENT women's match-up of the evening were the BAYLOR BEARS vs LOUISVILLE CARDINAL. The Baylor Bears came into the tournament as being a Number one seed and the defending NCAA TOURNAMENT champion. The Baylor bears had only lost to one other team this season. The Louisville cardinals came into the tournament as a number 5 seed. The Cardinals came into this game with a  record 26-8. First half the cardinal came out very physical out scoring the Bears in the first half 39-29. Second half the Bears would out score the cardinals 52-43. Leading scorers for the bears were Odyssey Sims with 29 points and 5 ast. and Brittany Griner with 10 rebounds. The Cardinals would go on to pull the biggest upset in women's college basketball history, beating the defending champions and the number one seed over all 82-81.
 
Tonight's NCAA TOURNAMENT men's match-up of the evening were the DUKE BLUE DEVILS  vs  LOUISVILLE CARDINALS . The Cardinals came into the tournament as the number 1 seed overall. The cardinals came into this game with a record of 32-5. The Blue Devils came into the tournament as a number 2 seed on there side of the bracket. The Blue Devils came into this game with a record of 30-5. First half both teams came out very strong but the Cardinals would out score the Blue Devils 35-32. The cardinals guard Kevin Ware would break his leg in the first half trying to block a shot he would not return. Second half the Cardinals would dominate and would out score the Blue Devils in the second half 50-31. Leading scorers for the Cardinals were Russ Smith with 23 points and 2 rebounds, Gorgui Dieng with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 ast, and Peyton Siva 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the Blue Devils were Mason Plumlee with 17 points and 12 rebounds, and 2 ast. The Cardinals in the second half would show a dominating performance out scoring the Blue Devils overall 85-63.
