The first match-up from the NCAA tournament were the DUKE BLUE DEVILS vs ALBANY GREAT DANES . Duke came into this came with a record of 27-5 which earned them the number 2 seed in there side of the bracket. Albany came into this game with a record of 24-10 and as a number 15 seed. This game was a very big game for Albany because they wanted to come out and prove everyone wrong and pull the upset. First half Albany came out very strong but duke would go on to our score them in the first half 35-26. Second half Albany knowing they were behind and had to catch up score 35 points but it wouldn't be enough, Duke would go on to our score them in the second half 38-35. Leading scorers for the Duke Blue Devils were Seth Curry with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 ast, Mason Plumlee with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 ast, and Quinn Cook with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 11 ast. Leading scorers for the Albany Great Danes were Jacob Lati with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 ast and Peter Hooley with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 ast. The Duke Blue Devils would go on to win it 73-61 advancing in the tournament to the second round.
