NBA WEDNESDAY

Tonight's first game of the evening were the INDIANA PACERS vs BOSTON CELTICS .The Boston Celtics came into this game with a record of 32-27. They have had there struggles in the past few games but have found there way to the top. The Boston Celtics are in a play-off spot in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers came into this game as being one of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference. Coming into this game the pacers had a record of 38-22. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the Pacers would push a little harder and would win the battle in the first 27-19. Second quarter the Celtics would get a little edge over the Pacers and would out score them in the second 23-22. Second half the Pacers came out very strong and would out score the Celtics in the third 19-16. Fourth quarter the Celtics would come out with a push and would fight and they would beat the Pacers in the fourth 25-13. Leading scorers for the Pacers were Paul George with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 ast.  and David West would have 11 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the Celtics were Kevin Garnett with 18 points , 10 rebounds , and 2 ast. The Celtics would go on to win this tough conference battle 83-81.

Tonight's second game of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs ORLANDO MAGIC. The Miami heat came into this game as being the TOP team in the Eastern Conference leading the conference with a record of 44-14 coming into this game. For the heat to extend there lead in the Eastern Conference they would have had to have won this game . The heat also had a 15 game winning streak coming into this game so to extend there all time best franchise winning streak. It was a must win if they wanted to keep there streak alive.  The magic came into the game with a record of 17-44 . The magic had one of the worst teams in the league but they were hopeing this game would be the game that would turn all of that around. First quarter the Miami heat came out very strong out scoring the Magic in the first 25-18. Second quarter the heat extended there great play of basketball, out scoring the magic in the second 30-22. Second half the magic came out as a completely different team dominating the heat in the third 34-22. Fourth quarter both teams came out very strong but the magic couldn't hold off the heat, the magic would out score the heat in the fourth 22-20. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 26 points, 3 rebounds, 2 ast, Dwayne Wade with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 ast, and Chris Bosh with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 ast. Leading scorers for the Magic were Jameer Nelson with 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 14 ast. The heat would go on to win it 97-96 extending there 16 game winning streak.
