NCAA TOURNAMENT (MEN/WOMEN) NBA SUNDAY

Today's NBA match-up of the day were the HOUSTON ROCKETS vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. The Houston Rockets would go on to win the very important conference game 96-95.

Today's NCAA TOURNAMENT GAME (men) of the day were NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS vs KANSAS JAYHAWKS . North Carolina came into this game with a record of 25-10 and a number 8 seed. Kansas came into this game with a record of 30-5 and a number 1 seed. First half North Carolina came out very strong, out scoring Kansas 30-21. Second half Kansas would fight back and would come from behind to win. Leading scorers for Kansas were Travis Releford 22 points and 8 rebounds, Jeff Withey 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 ast, and Elijah Johnson 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorer for North Carolina were P.J. Hairston 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 ast. Kansas would go on to win it 70-58 advancing to the next round of the NCAA tournament.

Today's NCAA TOURNAMENT GAME (women) of the day were BAYLOR BEARS vs PRAIRIE VIEW A&M PANTHERS. The Baylor bears came into this game with a record of 32-1 and the number 1 seed. The Panthers came into this game with a record of 17-14 and the SWAC champion, they also came into this game as a number 16 seed.
