NBA SUNDAY

Today's first game of the day were the MIAMI HEAT vs TORONTO RAPTORS. The Miami heat came into this game on a 21 game winning streak. The Miami heat came into this game with a record of 50-14. The Toronto Raptors came into this game with a record of 26-40. First quarter the Miami heat came out very strong dominating ,out scoring the Raptors in the first 27-19. Second quarter the Miami heat continued there great play of basketball out scoring the raptors in the second 28-24. Second half the Raptors fought back out scoring the heat in the third 30-21. Fourth quarter the Miami heat came back and out scored the Raptors in the fourth 32-18. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Dwayne Wade with 24 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 ast. and Lebron James with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the Toronto Raptors were Rudy Gay with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 ast. and Amir Johnson 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it 108-91 extending there winning streak to 22 games.

Today's second match-up of the day were the NEW YORK KNICKS vs LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS. The New York Knicks came into this game very strong trying to fight there way back up to the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The New York Knicks came into this game with a record of 38-25. The Los Angeles clippers came into this game as the number three seed in the Western Conference (One game ahead of the Grizzles) so  this game was very important to solidifying the third place spot in the Western Conference for the playoffs. The Clippers came into this game with a record of 45-21. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the Clippers would out score the Knicks in the first 21-18. Second quarter the clippers would extended the lead out scoring the Knicks 23-19. Second half the Knicks would make a attempt to try to catch back up but the Clipperswould prove to be to much for the knicks and  would out score them 28-23. Fourth quarter Clippers would finish off the game and would out score the knicks in the fourth 21-20. Leading scorers for the knicks were J.R.Smith with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 ast. , Kenyon Martin with 4 points, 9 rebound, and 3 ast, and Raymond Felton with 16 points, 3 rebound, and 9 ast. Leading scorers for the Clippers were Chris Paul with 20 points, 4 rebound, and 8 ast and Blake Griffin with 12 points, 12 rebounds , and 3 ast. The Clippers would go on to win it 93-80. (Clippers guard Chris Paul driving to the basket as Knicks defender is playing strong defense)
