NBA FRIDAY

Tonight's game of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs PHILADELPHIA 76ERS. The Miami heat have been on a great role these past few weeks, still extending there teams longest winning streak ever. The Miami heat came into this game with a record of 45-14 leading the eastern conference with the best record. The Philadelphia 76ers have had a decent season. Since there trade earlier in the season they have struggled significantly but they were still chasing a playoff spot in the eastern conference. The 76ers came into this game with a record of 23-37. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the Miami heat would win the battle out scoring the 76ers in the first 28-24. The 76ers knowing this game meant alot to there team fought back in the second and out scored the heat 27-19. Second half the heat came out very strong and out scoring the 76ers 29-24. Fourth quarter the heat would dominate out scoring the 76ers in the fourth 26-18. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 ast. Leading scorers for the 76ers were Thaddeus Young with 25 points, 2 ast, and 3 rebounds, Spencer Hawes 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 ast, and Jrue Holiday with 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 13ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it 102-93 extending there winning streak.
Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the INDIANA PACERS vs ORLANDO MAGIC. The Indiana Pacers were one of the top three teams in the eastern conference coming into this game. The Indiana Pacers coming into this game had a record of 38-23. The Orlando Magic coming into this game have had alot of troubles and things going on in the media because of there former player Dwight Howard, but they hoped this game would put there focus back on the task at hand, which was to finish off the basketball season very strong. The Magic came into this game with a record of 17-45. (Indiana Pacers forward/center Paul George trying to gain control off the ball and Magic defender tries to bat ball down) The Indiana Pacers would go on to win it 115-86.
