Tonight's first game of the evening were the INDIANA PACERS vs CHICAGO BULLS. The Indiana Pacers came into this game as being the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. They knew this game was very big in there conference, since the Bulls were also apart of the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers came into this game with a record of 43-26. The Chicago Bulls came into this game as being a strong contender in the Eastern Conference for the play-offs. The Bulls came into this game with a record of 36-31. First quarter the Pacers came out very strong trying to get out to a very early lead out scoring the Bulls 22-16. Second quarter the Bulls would fight back and would out score the Pacers in the second 23-22. Second half the Bulls would out score the Pacers in the third 29-23. Fourth quarter the Bulls would finish off the game out scoring the Pacers 19-17 in the fourth. Leading scorers for the Bulls were Luol Deng with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Carlos Boozer with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the Pacers were Paul George with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 ast and Roy Hibbert with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 ast. The Chicago Bulls would go on to win this very important Eastern Conference game 87-84.
Tonight's second match-up of the evening came from the NCAA TOURNAMENT (MEN) COLORADO STATE RAMS (8) vs LOUISVILLE CARDINALS (1). The Rams came into this game with a record of 26-8. The Cardinals came into this game with a record of 30-5. First half the Cardinals came out very strong and ready to battle , they out scored the Rams in the first 45-31. Second half the Cardinals would continue there great play of basketball out scoring the Rams 37-25. Leading scorers for the Cardinal were Russ Smith with 27 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading scorers for the Rams were Greg Smith with 14 points and 2 rebounds and Colton Iverson with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. The Cardinals would go on to win it 82-56 advancing in the tournament.
Tonight's third match-up of the evening come from the women's side of the NCAA TOURNAMENT TEXAS A&M AGGIES(3) vs WICHITA STATE SHOCKERS(14). The Lady Aggies came into this game as being a very strong team. The Aggies won the entire tournament in 2011 so they were hoping they could do it again in 2013. The Aggies came into this game with a record of 24-9. The Lady Shockers came into this game with a record of 24-9. First half the Aggies came out very strong, out scoring the Shockers in the first 35-22. Second half the Aggies continued there great play of basketball out scoring the Shockers in the second 36-23. The Lady Aggies would go on to win it 71-45.
