NBA SUNDAY

Today's first game of the day were the BOSTON CELTICS vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The thunder came into this game as being one of the top two teams in the west, just being one game behind the Spurs. The Thunder came into this game with a record of 46-16. The Celtics came into this game as being one of the top teams in the Eastern conference. Even though they lost there number one point guard, they had found ways to win games and stay at the top. The Celtics came into this game with a record of 34-27. First quarter both teams came out very strong but the thunder would get the edge out scoring the Celtics in the first 23-22. Second quarter the thunder would carry there momentum into the second  quarter out scoring the Celtics 27-23. Second half the Celtics would come out ready to battle out scoring the thunder in the third 20-18. The thunder would prove to be to much for the Celtics, the thunder would go on to out score the Celtics in the fourth 23-14. Leading scorers for the Celtics were Paul Pierce with 20 points, 6 ast, and 4 rebounds. Leading scorers for the thunder were Kevin Durant with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 ast. The thunder would go on to win 91-79.

Today's second match-up of the evening were the LOS ANGELES LAKERS vs CHICAGO BULLS. The Los Angeles Lakers came into this game very strong getting back on track and being tied in the 8th spot in the Western conference with the Utah Jazz. The Lakers came into this game with a record of 32-31. The Chicago bulls had been a strong team this season even though they lost there number one point guard last season ,they had found a way to still be a contender for the playoffs in the eastern conference. The Bulls came into this game with a record of 35-27. First quarter the lakers came out very strong out scoring the bulls in the first 20-16. Second quarter, both teams continued a good play off basketball both scoring 24 points. Second half the lakers continued there domination out scoring the bulls in the third 29-21. Fourth quarter the bulls would try to fight back but it would be to little to late. The bulls would out score the lakers in the fourth 20-17. Leading scorers the lakers were Kobe Bryant with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 9ast. and Dwight Howard with 16 points, 21 rebounds, and 1 ast. The lakers would go on to win it 90-81.

Today's third matchup of the day were the MIAMI HEAT vs INDIANA PACERS. The Miami heat came into this game on a 17 game winning streak beating every team in the entire league at least once this season besides the Indiana Pacers. The Miami heat came into this game with record of 47-14. The Indiana Pacers came into this game as being a number two seed in the eastern conference and the only team that had beaten the heat every time they have played them this season. The Pacers came into this game with a record of 39-23. First quarter the Miami heat came out very strong out scoring the pacers in the first quarter 29-20. Second quarter the Pacers would try to fight back but the heat would out score them by one point and would get the edge in the second 27-26. Second half the heat would continue there domination against the pacers out scoring them in the third 23-19. Fourth quarter both teams would put up 26 points. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Mario Chalmers with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 2ast. and Lebron James with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were David West 24 points, 5 rebounds , and 3 ast. and Paul George with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it 105-91.

Tonight's game of the evening were the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS vs DETROIT PISTONS. The Los Angles Clippers came into this game as being one of the top teams in the western Conference. The Clippers came into this game with a record of 44-20. The Detroit Pistons came into this game struggling to save there season. The Pistons were hopeing, with this win tonight it would put there season back on track so that they could make the playoffs. The Pistons came into this game with a record of 23-41. (Clippers foward/center going in for the dunk) The Clippers would go on win it 129-97.
