NBA SUNDAY

Tonight's game of the day were the MIAMI HEAT  vs NEW YORK KNICKS. Both of these teams were play-off teams in the Eastern Conference coming into this game. The New York Knicks had a record of 35-20 coming into this game. The Knicks have had there struggles there past few games but they were hopeing this game would turn every thing around. The Miami had been on a 13 game winning streak coming into this game so the win would just extend there 1 st place lead in the eastern conference. The Miami heat had a record of 42-14 coming into this game. First quarter both teams came out very strong strong but the Miami heat would get the edge out scoring the Knicks in the first 23-22. Second quarter the Knicks would fight back and would come up very big out scoring the heat in the second 37-22. Second half , the heat knowing they were down by 14 points knew they had to come up big in the third quarter , and they did out scoring the knicks in the third 28-18. Fourth  quarter the heat would take away the win, out scoring the knicks in the fourth 26-16. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 ast and Dwayne Wade with 20 points 8 rebounds, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 3 ast. and Jason Kidd with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it 99-93, extending there winning streak to 14 games.

Tonight's second game of the day were the OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER vs LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS . The Clippers coming into this game were one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Coming into this game the clippers had a record of 43-19. The Thunder coming into this game were one of the top teams in the Western Conference as well so this game meant alot to them. The Thunders record coming into this game was 42-16. (Oklahoma City thunder forward Kevin Durant trying to get a shot over Los Angles Clippers defender.) The Thunder would go on to win a hard fought battle 108-104.
