NBA MONDAY NIGHT

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the UTAH JAZZ vs MILWAUKEE BUCKS. Both of these teams were in the playoff's in there difference conferences. The Milwaukee bucks in the eastern conference and the Utah Jazz in the western conference. The Utah jazz had a record of 32-27 coming into this game and were a game head of the Rockets in the 7th place standing in the play-offs in the western conference, so this game was very important if they wanted to stay ahead of the Rockets in the standings. The Milwaukee bucks had a record of 29-28 leading into this game. First quarter both teams came out strong but the Utah Jazz would have the edge out scoring the Bucks in the first 24-20. Second quarter the bucks would fight back and would out score the Jazz barely in the second 25-24. Second half the Bucks would come out very commanding, scoring a very respectable 30 points in the third, out scoring the Jazz in the third 30-17. Fourth quarter the Jazz would fight back to send the game into over time, out scoring the Jazz in the fourth 34-24. In over time the bucks would score 10 points and the Jazz would only score 9 giving the bucks the win. Leading scorers for the Jazz were Derrick Favors with 23 points, 15 rebounds and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the Bucks were Monta Ellis with 34 points, 3 ast, and 4 rebounds, Larry Sanders with 8 points and 16 rebounds, and J.J Redick bringing them to the win scoring 8 of there 10 points scored in the overtime period. The Bucks would go on to win it 109-108.

Tonight's second game of the evening were the NEW YORK KNICKS vs CLEVELAND CAVALIERS. The New York Knicks came into this game with a record of 35-21. The Cleveland Cavaliers came into this game trying get into the last playoff spot in the eastern conference but they were hopeing this would be the game that would turn there season around. Coming into this game the Cavaliers had a record of 20-39. First quarter the Cavaliers surge out to a very commanding lead, out scoring the knicks in the first quarter 34-24. Second quarter the cavaliers would win the battle again out scoring the knicks again 27-25. Second half the knicks would come out very strong out scoring the cavaliers in the third 21-13. Fourth quarter the knicks would take over out scoring the cavaliers in the fourth 32-23. Leading scorers for the Knicks were Amar'e Stoudmire with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Tyson Chandler with 8 points, 2 ast, and 9 rebounds. Leading scorers for the Cavaliers were Marreese Speights with 23 points and 8 rebounds.
