NBA THURSDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening was the EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS with the match-up of the  MIAMI HEAT vs INDIANA PACERS. The Miami heat came into this game dropping game 4, and letting the pacers back into the series, so they were tied with the pacers in the series 2-2. The pacers came into this game willing there way back into the series in game four. The pacers came into this game tied in the series 2-2. First quarter the pacers would get out to a early lead, and would show why they were in the Eastern Conference Finals, out scoring the heat 23-19. Second quarter the pacers would dominate, but the heat would not let them get out of there sights. The pacers would tie the heat in the second 21-21. Second half the pacers would dominate, but little did they know that Lebron James (the king)would come and out score there entire team 16-13, by the end of the quarter the heat would out score the pacers 30-13. Fourth quarter the pacers would battle back, out scoring the heat 22-20. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 6 ast. and Udonis Haslem with 16 rebounds and 3 rebounds. Leading scorers for the pacers were Paul George were 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 ast. and Roy Hibbert with 22 points and 6 rebounds. The heat would go on to win it 90-79, and would take a 3-2 lead.

NBA TUESDAY

Tonight was a great match-up in the NBA . Tonight's featured game of the evening were the EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS featuring the MIAMI HEAT vs INDIANA PACERS. The Miami heat came into this game, up in the series 2-1. The pacers came into this game down 1-2 in the series. First quarter the Miami heat would get off to a very slow start and the pacers would take a 11-0 lead at the beginning of the first. By the end of the first the pacers would just be up by 4, out scoring the heat in the first 26-22. Second quarter the the heat would come back, and out score the pacers 25-22. Second half the pacers would come battling back, after letting the heat back into the game at the end of the first, they would go on to out score the heat in the third 29-23 solidifying there lead. Fourth quarter both teams would go on to score 22 points in the fourth. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 ast. and Mario Chalmers with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were Roy Hibbert with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 ast. and George Hill with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 ast. The pacers would go on to even the series at 2-2, going on to win it 99-92.

NBA MONDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening featured the WESTERN CONFERENCE finalist, the MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. Tonight was game four of the Western Conference finals, and the spurs were up in the series 3-0. The grizzlies came into this game down in the series 0-3, and if they wanted to keep there playoff hopes alive, they had to come out and compete tonight, and show everyone that they were worthy enough to be in the Western Conference finals. The spurs came into this game up in the series 3-0. They wanted to close the series out tonight, so that they could get some rest before the NBA finals. First quarter the grizzlies would get out to a early lead, but by the end of the quarter the spurs had the upper hand, and would come back and out score the grizzlies in the first 24-14. Second quarter the grizzlies would fight back to try to cut into the deficit, out scoring the spurs in the second 24-20. Second half both teams would come out strong, both scoring 28 points in the third. Fourth quarter the spurs would out score the grizzlies 21-20. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tony Parker were 37 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 ast. and Tim Duncan were 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the grizzlies were Pondexter with 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Mark Conley with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 ast.

MLB SUNDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the OAKLAND ATHLETICS vs HOUSTON ASTROS. The athletics would come into this game with a record of 27-23 on the season. The astros would come into this game with a record of 14-35 on the season. Neither team would get out to a early lead early, but once the Athletics got started in the fourth inning the Astros had a very difficult time stopping them. By the time the Astros would get going, it would be to late, the Athletics would go on to win it 6-2.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK YANKEES vs TAMPA BAY RAYS. The Yankees came into this game with a record on the season of 30-18. The rays came into this game with a record of 24-24 on the season. At the beginning of the game the rays would get out to a commanding lead, and the yankees wouldn't have the chance of stopping them. By the time the yankees got started,it was to late. The rays would go on to win it 8-3.

Tonight's third match-up of the evening were the CHICAGO CUBS vs CINCINNATI REDS. The cubs came into this game with a record of 18-30 on the season. The reds came into this game with a record of 31-18 on the season. Neither team would be able to get out to a early lead. The Reds would soon get out to a lead in the fourth inning , but little did they know that later int he game the cubs would come towering back. The cubs would come from behind to win it 5-4.

 
Tonight's final match-up of the evening were the BALTIMORE ORIOLES vs TORONTO BLUE JAYS. The orioles would come into this game with a regular season record of 27-22. The blue jays would come into this game with a regular season record of 20-29. The orioles would begin the game getting out to a early lead, being up by two at the bottom of the second. The blue jays wouldn't respond until the bottom of the fourth, but from then on they wouldn't look back. The blue jays would go on to win it 6-5.
 


NBA SUNDAY

Tonight was a great night in the NBA. Tonight's match of the Eastern Conference finals game 3 were  the MIAMI HEAT vs INDIANA PACERS. The Miami heat came into this game winning game one of the series, but lost the home field advantage in game two by losing game 2. The pacers came into this game taking a tough lost to the heat in game one in overtime, but would smoothly take the win in game 2, taking away home court from the Miami heat. First quarter the miami heat would surge out to a strong lead , out scoring the pacers in the first 34-30. Second quarter the miami heat would continue there dominance , outscoring the pacers 36-26 in the second. By half time the heat were up by 14 points. Second half the heat would continue to control the game and the games momentum, out scoring the pacers in the third 21-20. Fourth quarter the heat would finish off the game, out scoring the pacers in the fourth 23-20. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 22 points 4 rebounds, and 3 ast. , Chris Anderson with 9 points and 9 rebounds, and Dwayne Wade with 18 points, 4 rebound, and 8 ast. Leading scorers for the Indiana Pacers were Roy Hibbert with 17 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Paul George with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it 114-96, taking a 2-1 game lead in the series.

MLB SATURDAY

Today's MLB game of the day were the MINNESOTA TWINS vs DETRIOT TIGERS. The twins came into this game with a record of 18-27. The tigers came into this game with a record of 27-19. First inning the  tigers would come up short, unable to make any runs in the first, but twins would have a differenct story. The twins would come out of the gate very strong, and ready to compete. Mauer of the twins would hit a home run to right field . Later in the inning Morneau would hit a deep double to center field, helping Willingham score. The twins would be up 3-0 at the bottom of the first. The second through fourth inning neither team would score. Fifth inning the twins would come up short, but the tigers would take full advantage, this was there chance to cut the deficit. Hunter of the tigers would hit a double to center field, helping his team mate Dirks get a run in. The twins would still lead 3-1 at the bottom of the fifth. In the sixth inning the twins would come up empty, but the tigers knew this was there chance to cut more into the deficit. Peraita of the tigers would hit a home run to right field. By the bottom of the sixth, the twins would still be leading 3-2. Neither team would score the rest of the game, and the Twins would go on to win it 3-2.

NHL SATURDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the DETRIOT RED WINGS vs CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS. The black hawks came into this game on a high , after proving everyone wrong and showing that even though they were the under dog in the series, they could still get the job done by winning the past two games of this series. The red wings came into this game winning the first two games of the series, but since the first two games, they have had there share trials and troubles. Starting off the game tonight the blackhawks would come out of the gate dominate and would show it throughout the entire game, going on to win it 4-1.

Tonight's NBA match-up of the evening were the SAN ANTONIO SPURS vs MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES . This was game 3 of the Western Conference finals. The spurs came into this game up in the series 2-0 after winning the first two games of the series at home. The grizzlies came into this game down in the series 0-2. First quarter the grizzlies would get out to a commanding lead. At one point in the quarter the grizzlies were leading by 19 points, but by the end of the quarter the spurs had begun to make up some of the deficit. The grizzlies would out score the spurs 29-13 in the first. Second quarter the Spurs would battle back after there horrific start, they would out score the grizzlies in the second 27-15. Second half the spurs would out score the grizzlies in the third 24-21, and would only be down by one point, at the end of the third. Fourth quarter the spurs would go on to out score the grizzlies, 22-21, sending the game into over time 22-21. In over time the spurs would dominate out scoring the grizzlies 18-7. Leading scorers for the grizzlies were Mike Conley with 20 points, 3 rebounds , and 4 ast. and Marc Gasol with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 ast. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tony Parker with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 ast. The spurs would go on to win game 3 104-93 in overtime, going up in the series 3-0.

NBA FRIDAY

Last night was a very exciting night in the NBA. It was game two of the Eastern Conference Finals.  The Eastern Conference finals match-up were the MIAMI  HEAT vs INDIANA PACERS . The pacers came into this game down in the series 1-0, after letting game one slip away from them in overtime.The heat came into this game up in the series 1-0 . In game one the heat  had there struggles with there best three point shooters(Allen and Battier) haveing a very difficult night and struggling to get the shoots to fall, even though they were getting open looks. First quarter the pacers would surge out to a commanding lead, but by the end of the quarter they were just up by 6, out scoring the heat in the first 28-22. Second quarter the heat would fight back, but the pacers wouldn't allow this to happen, both teams would score 25 points in the second. Second half the heat would come out dominating going on a 12-3 run in the third, but by the end of the quarter the pacers, would have slowed them down. The heat would out score the pacers in the third 27-23. Fourth quarter the pacers would out score the heat 21-19. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 36 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 ast. , Dwayne Wade with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 ast. , and Chris Bosh with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were Roy Hibbert with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Paul George with 22 points 2 rebounds, and 6 ast. The pacers would go on to win it, 97-93.

NHL THURSDAY

Tonight's largely anticipated game of the evening were the BOSTON BRUINS vs NEW YORK RANGERS. This was a huge game not only for these two teams but for the fans as well. This game was anticipated to be a very physical and hard fought game, and it was, but the Rangers would prevail in overtime, going on to beat the bruins 4-3.

MLB THURSDAY

Today's first match-up of the day were the CLEVELAND INDIANS vs BOSTON RED SOX. The indians came into this game with a record of 26-19. The redsox came into this game with a record of 28-19. First inning both teams would come up short, neither team would score any runs. Second inning the red sox's would come up short, but the indians would take full advantage. Stubbs of the indians would hit a double to right field, helping his teammate Santana get a run in. Third inning the indians Reynolds would hit a single to deep center field, helping his team mates Cabrera and Brantley get two important runs in. Later in the inning Aviles of the indians would hit a ground ball to the shortstop, helping another runner for the indians get home Santana.Later in the innning red sox would fight back. Ortiz of the redsox would hit a home run to right field, helping his team mates Nava and Pedroia get home. By the bottom of the third, the indians were up 4-3. Fourth inning the redsox would come up empty, but the indians would keep the momentum going, with Cabrera hitting a single to left field, helping Bourn get a run in. The Indians would be leading the redsox's at the bottom of the fourth 5-3. Fifth inning the redsox would go scoreless, but the indians would continue to dominate. The indians Bourn would hit a single to right field, helping Aviles get a run in , making the score at the bottom of the fifth 6-3. Sixth inning the redsox's would go scoreless, but the indians would continue to grow momentum. The indians Reynolds would hit a single to left field, helping Cabrera score and also Santana would score. Later in the inning Gomes would hit a double to left field, helping Brantley and Santana score. The next play Stubbs would hit a triple to center field, helping Reynolds and Gomes get runs in. After that play Bourn would hit a single to right field, helping Stubbs get a run in as well. Neither team would score in the seventh through ninth innings, and the indians would go on to dominate the game, winning it 12-3.

MLB WEDNESDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the SEATTLE MARINERS vs LOS ANGELES ANGELS. The mariners came into this game with a record of 20-26. The angels came into this game with a record of 18-27. First inning the mariners would come up empty, but the angels would take full advantage. The angels Hamilton would hit a single to left field, to help Trout and Pujols get two important runs in for the angels. Later in the inning Callaspo would hit a double to right field , to help Trumbo and Kendrick get another two important runs in. Later Conger of the angels would hit a single to right field and would bring in his team made Callaspo. By the end of the first the angels were up 5-0. Second inning the mariners would come up scoreless, but the angels would look to extend there lead. Pujols of the angels would hit a single to center field, to help Trout score, putting the angels up 6-0 at the bottom of the second. Third inning the mariners would be scoreless, but the angels would come up big . Aybar of the angels would hit a single to center field and would help his team mate Callaspo make a  run in for the angels. By the bottom of the third the mariners were scoreless and the Angels were up 7-0. The fourth through seventh inning neither team would score. By the eighth inning the mariners would get started on the offensive end. Saunders would hit a ground ball to first base to help , Ryan score, making the score at the bottom of the eighth 1-7. Neither team would score in the ninth. The angels would go on  to win it 7-1.

Tonight's match-up of the evening,was the NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE FINAL. The INDIANA PACERS vs MIAMI HEAT. The pacers came into this game, ranked 3rd in the Eastern Conference. The Miami heat came into this game ranked number one in the Eastern Conference, and had the best over all regular season record in the NBA. First quarter both teams would come out ready to battle on both ends of the ball, but the heat would get the offensive edge, out scoring the pacers in the first 22-21. Second quarter the Pacers would come to battle, and would show a tremendous effort in the second out scoring the heat 21-15. Second half the heat would come out very strong, ready to score, out scoring the pacers in the third 27-23. Fourth quarter the heat would battle back into this game and would out score the pacers 28-27, which would send the game into overtime. The Heat would go on to out score the pacers in over time 11-10. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 ast. and Dwayne Wade with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were Paul George with 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 ast. and David West with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 ast. The Miami heat would go on to win it, with Lebron James hitting the game winning shot, to give the heat the win in over time over the pacers 103-102.

MLB MONDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK YANKEES vs BALTIMORE ORIOLES. The yankees came into this game with a record of 27-16 on the season. The orioles came into this game with a record of 23-20 on the season. First inning the Yankees would be the first team to get points on the bored, with a huge home run from Cano to center field, putting them up 1-0 at the bottom of the first. The orioles would come up scoreless in the first. Second inning The yankees would come up big again with another home run, coming from Adams to left field, but the orioles would have a answer this time, with Davis of the orioles making a huge home run to right center field.At the bottom of the second, the score was 2-1. The third and fourth innings, both teams would come up scoreless. Fifth inning the yankees would come up scoreless, but the orioles would take advantage , and would try to tie the score up. The orioles, Markakis would hit a single to center field, helping his teammate Pearce get a run in for the orioles, making the score at the bottom of the fifth 2-2. In the sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning both teams were all tied up, but the yankees would be up first to bat and would take full advantage of it. Overbay of the yankees would hit a huge home run to right field. Later in the inning the orioles would  have a answer, Markakis would hit a double to left field, helping Casilla score for the orioles, later in the inning the orioles would come up big again, with Hardy hitting a double to right field helping Markakis score, putting the orioles up 4-3 at the bottom of the seventh. Neither team would score in the eighth inning. Ninth inning the orioles would come up scoreless, so this was the Yankees chance to tie the game. The yankees Hafner would hit a huge home run to tie up the game at the bottom of the ninth 4-4, sending the game into a extra inning. Tenth inning the orioles would come up empty, but the yankees would prove they were the better team, and would come up big. Wells of the yankees would hit a ground ball to left field helping Suzuki score, later in the inning the yankees would  stretch there lead, Hafner would hit a single to right field helping Wells score, making the final score at the bottom of the tenth. 6-4. The yankees would go on to win this hard fought game 6-4.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the TORONTO BLUE JAYS vs TAMPA BAY RAYS. The blue jays came into this game with a record of 17-26. The rays came into game with a record of 23-20. The Toronto Blue Jays would go on to win this hard fought game 7-5.

NBA SUNDAY

Today, the Western Conference NBA finals began. At the beginning of the season everyone imagined, that the NBA Finals would have the same contenders as the 2011-2012 season, but injury had struck a very dominate team. The Thunder, had lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the semi final round of the Western Conference, finals. But now we look to the present time, and who is actually in the Western Conference finals. Today Game 1 of the Western Conference, finals was played by the two contenders SAN ANTONIO SPURS vs MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES . The Spurs came into this game dominating there first series of the Playoffs against the Los Angeles lakers, but when they reached the semi final round  of the Western Conference Finals and they ran into a few bumps in the road, when they played the Golden State Warriors. It was a very hard fought series, but the spurs would prevail, to put them where they are now, in the Western Conference, finals. The grizzlies had a very different road to the Western Conference finals. There first series of the playoffs, they had lost the first two games of the series, and knew that if they wanted to get to the NBA finals, they would have to beat there opponent , the Los Angeles Clippers. The grizzlies would have a very physical series, but would prevail. The next round of the playoffs the grizzlies would face the Oklahoma City thunder, who had won the Western Conference, last season and who had went to the finals. This thunder team had lost the first game of the series, but would come back with a vengeance and would win the next four to close out the series, and put them in the Western Conference Finals. The first quarter of the Western Conference finals the grizzlies would come out very slow and would have a very hard time scoring, but the spurs would take full advantage of that, making 7 out of 8 of there first shots, out scoring the grizzlies in the first 31-14. Second quarter the grizzlies would fight back, to cut into some of the deficit, out scoring the spurs in the second 23-20. Second half the spurs would continue to out score the grizzlies, out scoring them in the third 22-20. Fourth quarter the spurs would stretch the lead , and would out score the grizzlies in the fourth 32-26. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tony Parker with 20 points, 1 rebounds, and 9 ast. and Tim Duncan with 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the grizzlies were Quincy Pondexter with 17 points and 1 rebounds, and Marc Gasol with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. Tonight was a unfamiliar place for the grizzlies, because in there last two series, they were down in the first few games, and battled back later on in the series, to win , but today the spurs we prevail, going on to win it 105-83, to give them a 1-0 lead in this series.

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK KNICKS vs INDIANA PACERS . The knicks came into this game down in the series 2-3. The knicks came into this series the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The pacers came into this game up in the game 3-2. The pacers came into this series the number 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. First quarter the pacers would come out very strong and ready to make a statement, out scoring the knicks in the first 29-27. Second quarter the pacers would continue to dominate, out scoring the knicks in the second 26-20. Second half the knicks would come out very, strong and would hit 4 three pointers in the time period of 1:30 seconds to tie the game , to give the knicks a chance to win later in the quarter they would gain the lead for the first time in the game , the knicks would out score the pacers in the third, 34-26. Fourth quarter the pacers would dominate, holding the knicks leading scorers to only 18 points in the fourth, and to  30% shooting, the pacers would go on to out score the knicks in the fourth 25-18. Leading scorers for the knicks were Lance Stephenson with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 3 ast. , Roy Hibbert with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 ast., and Paul George with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 39 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast.  and Iman Shumpert with 19 points and 3 rebounds. The pacers would go on to close this series, 106-99, and will be in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Today's match-up of the day were the SAN DIEGO PADRES vs BALTIMORE ORIOLES. The padres came into this game with a record of 17-21. The orioles came into this game with a record of 23-16. First inning both teams would fall short, not scoring any runs. Second inning the padres would come up big, Baker would hit a single to right field, and would help Gyorko and Amarista get two important runs, helping the padres get out to a early lead. Later in the inning the orioles would have a answer, the orioles, Hardy would hit a home run to left field, putting the orioles on the bored, making the score at the end of the second 2-1. Third inning both teams would come up empty. Fourth inning the padres would get two important runs. Blanks would hit a home run to left field. Later in the inning Venable would hit a double to right field helping Amarista get home and score. The orioles would also score in the fourth, Wieters would come up big, hitting a home run to right field, making the score at the end of the fourth 4-2. In the fifth inning , both teams would come up empty. Sixth inning the orioles would come up short, but the padres would take advantage, Quentin would hit a single to right field, helping Cabrera score, making the score at the end of the sixth 5-2. Seventh inning the padres would come up big, Amarista would hit a home run to center, helping Blanks score as well. Later in the inning the orioles would respond, and Jones would hit a single to left field, and Machado would score. Eighth inning both teams would come up empty. Ninth inning the padres Cabrera would hit a single to right field and Gyorko would score. Later in the inning the orioles would answer, and would try to make up the deficit, wit Markakis hitting a double to right field helping Machado score for the orioles. The orioles would come up short and the padres would go on to win it 8-4.

NBA WEDNESDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT vs CHICAGO BULLS. The heat came into this game tonight up in this series 3-1, after dropping the first game, the heat would win the next three. The bulls would have there struggles throughout the post season from the injures, to the struggles with scoring, they had faught all season. The bulls came into this game down in the series 1-3. First quarter the heat would get out to a 18-2 run in the first quarter, but by the end of the quarter the bulls would have made up the defecit only losing by 9 after the heat, out scored them in the first 30-21. Second quarter the bulls would make a tremendous come back out scoring the heat in the second 32-17. Second half the bulls would continue to take over this game , out scoring the heat in the third 24-22. Fourth quarter the heat would battle back, out scoring the bulls in the fourth 25-14. Leading scorers for the Miami heat were Lebron James with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 ast. and Dwayne Wade with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 ast. Leading scorers for chicago bulls were Carlos Boozer with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Nate Robinson with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 ast. The heat would go on to close this series, and advance to the Eastern Conference finals, going on to win it 94-91.

NBA TUESDAY

Yesterday's second NBA game of the after noon were the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. The warriors came into this game tied in this series 2-2, and the number six seed in the Western Conference. The spurs came into this game tied in the series as well 2-2, and they were the number two seed over all in the Western Conference. First quarter the warriors would struggle on the offensive end tremendously, the spurs would take advantage of the warriors slow start and would surge out to a large lead, out scoring the warriors in the first 37-28. Second quarter the warriors would fight back, out scoring the spurs in the second 23-17. Second half the spurs would get out to a strong lead , out scoring the warriors in the third 29-21. Fourth quarter the spurs would continue to dominate, out scoring the warriors 26-19 in the fourth. Leading scorers for the warriors were Harrison Barnes with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Carl Landry with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tony Parker with 25 points, 2 rebounds, and 10 ast. and Kawhi Leonard 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 ast.

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ASTROS vs DETROIT TIGERS. The astros came into this game with a record of 10-29. The tigers came into this game with a record of 21-15. First inning both teams would come up empty. Second inning the tigers would come up short, but the astros would get there team off to a great start, getting two important runs. Astros Martinez hit a double to left field, and off of that Carter would make it home and score. Later in the inning Parades would hit a fly ball to center, helping Pena score. At the end of the second, the astros would be up 2-0. The third and fourth inning both teams would come up short, both not being able to score any runs. Fifth inning the astros would come up short , but the tigers would take advantage. Tigers Kelly would hit a single to left field, helping Infante get home, later in the inning Santiago would hit a double to left field, helping Kelly score. A few plays after that, in the inning Driks would hit a ground ball to right field, that would help Santiago score. By the end of the fifth, the score would be 3-2. Sixth inning the astros would come up empty, but the tigers would take advantage. Martinez of the tigers would hit a single to right field, helping Cabrera get a very important run in, putting them up 4-2. Later in the inning Fielder would score, making the score at the end of the sixth 5-2. Seventh inning the astros would come up short, but the tigers would have a very important play. Cabrera  of the tigers would hit a home run to left field. The tigers wouldn't need the home run, because they would go on to win it 6-2.

NBA TUESDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the INDIANA PACERS  vs NEW YORK KNICKS. The pacers came into this game up in this series 2-1. The pacers came into this series the number three seed in the Eastern Conference for the playoffs, so they had something to prove. The Knicks came into this game down in this game 2-1. The knicks came into this series of the playoffs the number three seed in the Eastern Conference. First quarter the knicks would get out to a slow start, such as in game 3, letting the pacers get out to a early lead in the first 23-16. Second Quarter the pacers would continue to dominate, out scoring the knicks 25-18. Second half the knicks would use there frustration, and would fight back, out scoring the pacers in the third 22-19. Fourth quarter both teams would score 26 points. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 ast., Tyson Chandler with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Raymond Felton with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 6 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were George Hill with 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 ast. and Paul George with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 ast. The pacers would go on to win this game 93-82, making the series 3-1.

NBA MONDAY

Tonight's playoff match-up of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT  vs CHICAGO BULLS. The heat came into this game , the number one seed over all in the NBA Playoffs and in the Eastern Conference, they also came into this game up in this series 2-1, after dropping the first game of this series. The heat lost the first game of this series, but have since then, won the last 2 games. The bulls came into this game down in this series, 1-2, after dropping the last two games. The bulls knew that this was must win game tonight, for them if they had any chance of winning against the heat in the future. First quarter the heat would surge out to a large lead, and would out score the bulls in the first 21-15. Second quarter the heat, would feed off of there momentum from the first quarter, and would out score the bulls in the second 23-18. Second half the heat would come out dominating again, out scoring the bulls 17-9. Fourth quarter , it would be all of the heat, out scoring the bulls for the fourth straight quarter, 21-23 in the fourth. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 ast. and Chris Bosh with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the bulls were Jimmy Butler with 12 points and 5 rebounds. and Carlos Boozer with 14 points, 12 reboubds, and 1 ast. MLB Sunday

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the TORONTO BLUE JAYS  vs BOSTON REDSOX. The blue jays came into this game with a record of 14-24. The Red sox came into this game with a record of 22-15. Starting off in the first inning, both teams would get off to a slow start. Both teams wouldn't score in the first inning. Second inning the red sox would come up short, but the blue jays would take advantage of the redsox, slow start. The blue jays, Kawasaki would hit a single to right, helping Lind and Bonifacio get home and make two important runs, to put them out to a 2-0 lead over the redsox. Third inning the redsox would come up empty, but the blue jays would take advantage. Bautista of the blue jays would hit a big time home run to left field, making the score 3-0. Fourth inning the blue jays Boifacio would hit a home run, helping Ramus and himself get runs in, but the redsox's would have a answer. Napoli of the red sox would hit a home run, making the score 5-1 at the bottom of the fourth. Fifth inning the redsox would come up empty, but the blue jays would take advantage. Encarnacion of the blue jays would hit a left field home run, making the score at the bottom of the fifth 6-1. Sixth inning Lawrie and Bautista would hit left field home runs, also in the inning Bonoifacio and Kawaski would benefit from these home runs, helping them get home. Later in the inning redsox's Nava would hit a fly ball to right field to help his team made Pedroia score, making the score at the bottom of the sixth 10-2. Neither team would score in the seventh. Eighth inning the blue jays would fall short, but the redsox knew this was there time to cut into the deficit. Ciricaco of the red sox would hit a big time home run to left field, later in the inning Napoli would score off of a big time play with Saltalamacchia hitting a ground ball to the short stop. At the end of the eighth the blue jays would still be winning 10-4.  Ninth inning the redsox would come up short, but the blue jays would go on to extend there lead. Encarnacion of the blue jays would hit a single to right field, helping Cabrera get a much needed score in for the blue jays, later in the inning Arcibia would hit a ground ball to get a double play , Bautita would score. The blue jays would go on to win it 12-4.

NBA SUNDAY

Today's match-up of the evening were the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. The warriors came into this game, down in this 2nd round series of the playoffs 1-2. The spurs came into this game up in this series 2-1. First quarter the warriors would have a hard time getting started, and the spurs would take advantage of the warriors slow start . The spurs would out score the warriors in the first 26-19. Second quarter the spurs would continue to take advantage of the warriors, out scoring them in the second 19-18. Second half the warriors would get a wake up call, and would begin to cut into the defecit, and the warriors would out score the spurs 23-17 in the third. Fourth quarter the warriors would continue to battle back and would out score the spurs 24-22, sending the game into over time. In over time the warriors would prevail holding the spurs to only 3 points in over time, out scoring the spurs 13-3. Leading scorers for the warriors were Harrison Barnes with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Andrew Bogut with 5 points, 18 rebounds, and 2 ast. NBA SATURDAY

Today's match-ups of the day were the MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES  vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The grizzlies came into this game tied in the series 1-1.The grizzlies, in the previous series vs the Los Angeles Clippers struggled in the first few games, but eventually found there rhythm, and they were hopeing that would carry into this series as well.  The thunder came into this game tied as well in this series 1-1. First quarter the grizzlies would get out to a commanding lead, out scoring the thunder 22-18. Second quarter the thunder would battle back, out scoring the grizzlies 27-22. Second half the grizzlies would out score the thunder in the third 22-25. Fourth quarter both teams would score 21 points. Leading scorers for the grizzlies were Marc Gasol with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 ast. and Zach Randolph with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Mike Conley with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 ast. Leading scorers for the thunder were Kevin Durant with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 ast. The grizzlies would go on to win game 3, making the series 2-1.

The knicks came into this game tied with the pacers in the series 1-1.This knicks had struggled, in previous games in the series, with finishing quarters and half's, they were hopeing tonight that they could correct that, so that they could get the win.  The pacers came into this game tied in the series 1-1. First quarter the pacers would get out to a lead , out scoring the knicks in the first 18-15. Second quarter both teams would come out strong, defensively, and  struggle on the offensive end, both only score 18 points. Second half the pacers would out score the knicks in the third 26-20. Fourth quarter the knicks would try to make a strong comeback, but there wasn't enough offense for them to prevail, the pacers would out score the knicks 20-18. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Iman Shumpert with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 ast. Leading scorers for the pacers were Paul George with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 ast. and Roy Hibbert with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams were having a off shooting night, but the Pacers would prevail, and would go  on to win it 82-71, making the series 2-1.

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK YANKEES vs COLORADO ROCKIES. The Yankees came into this game with a record of 19-13. The rockies would come into this game with a record of 19-14. First inning both teams would come up big. The yankees Wells would hit a single to right, center field helping Nix get a run in. The Rockies Gonzalez would hit a fly ball to center helping Fowler get a run in, making the score 1-1 at the end of the first. The Second and third inning both teams would come up empty. Fourth inning the rockies would come up empty, but the yankees would take advantage of that. The yankees Stewart would hit a fly ball to center, to help Nelson score. Fifth inning the rockies would come up empty again, but the yankees would score. Cano would hit a home run to right field, making the score 3-1 at the bottom of the fifth. Neither team would score the rest of the game. The Yankees would go on to win 3-1.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the MINNESOTA TWINS vs BOSTON RED SOX. The twins came into this game with a record of 15-15. The red sox came into this game with a record of 21-13. Both teams would get out to a slow start, with both teams not scoring in the first two innings. Third inning the twins would come up empty, but the red sox would come up big. Red sox Pedroia would hit a single to center, to help Victorino get a run in for the red sox, making the score at the end of the third 1-0. Fourth inning the twins would come up empty, but the red sox would score. Drew of the red sox would hit a single to center, to help Nava score. Fifth inning redsox would come up empty, but the twins would try to battle back into the game. Hicks of the twins would hit a double to right, helping Arcia score, making the score 2-1. Sixth inning the twins, would get three crucial runs in from Mauer, Morneau, and a homer from Arcia to knock in him self and Plouffe. Later in the inning the red sox would get a well needed run in from Napoli, making the score 5-3. Neither team would score after the sixth. The twins would come from behind to win it 5-3.

CAYMAN INVITATIONAL

Track season is beginning to heat up, from the Penn Relay's a few weeks ago, starting the out door season and starting the rode to the 2013 World Championships. One of the track meets that lead after the Penn relays was the Cayman invitational. A few of the worlds stars from the United States and Jamaica were in attendance and were ready to blaze the track. Some of the winners were 6 time gold medalist and world record holder of the 100 and 200, of the country of Jamaica, Usain Bolt in the 2012 London Olympics.At the Cayman Invitational, Bolt would win the 100meters in a time of 10.09, barely getting the lead against  his training partner Kemar Baily Cole. The next break out star was the United States own Carmelita Jeter. Jeter wasn't in attendance at the Penn Relays because of a injury, but the Cayman Invitational would be the meet to help her get her season off to a great start. Carmelita Jeter would be the silver medalist in the 100m and bronze medalist in the 200m in the 2012 Olympics in London. Carmelita would get first in the 100m at the Cayman Invitational with a winning time of 10.95, this is just a start for Carmelita. For both of theses stars this one of track meets that will help them in there road to the 2013 World Championships.

NBA WEDNESDAY

Last night's match-up of the evening were the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS vs  SAN ANTONIO SPURS. The warriors came into this game , having a devastating lost to the spurs. The warriors last game were up by 14 in the final four minutes, but the game would slip way from the warriors, making the series 0-1. The spurs came into this game skirting away in game one by the skin of there teeth, making up a 14 point deficit to make the series 1-0 in the first match-up. First quarter the warriors would go out to a strong lead, out scoring the spurs in the first 28-23. Second quarter the warriors would continue there domination, out scoring the spurs in the second 34-20. Second half, the spurs, knowing they  had a huge deficit to make up came out very strong in the third, out scoring the spurs 29-21. Fourth quarter the spurs would out score the warriors 19-17. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tim Duncan with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 ast. and 1 Block. and Tony Parker with 20 points. Leading scorers for the warriors were Stephen Curry with 22 points and Klay Thompson 34 points, 14 rebounds, and 1 ast. 3 steels, and 1 block. The warriors would go on to win it 100-91.

Last night there was a second great match-up. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES vs OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. The grizzlies came into this game down 0-1 in the series, because they let a hard fought game slip away from them in game one, but tonight they wanted to come back and prove that they were the better team, and that that lost didn't define there team, or season as a whole. The thunder came into this game up 1-0 in the series. First quarter the grizzlies would come out strong, out scoring the thunder 23-21. Second quarter the thunder would try to battle back, but the grizzlies wouldn't go away, they would out score the thunder 31-30. Second half the thunder would come out very strong, out scoring the grizzlies, 23-15. Fourth quarter the grizzlies would go on to out score the thunder 30-19. Leading scorer for the thunder were Kevin Durant with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 ast. Leading scorer for the grizzlies were Mike Conley with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 9 ast. The grizzlies would go on to win it 99-93.

Second quarter the heat would continue there domination 30-21 in the second. Second half, the heat would begin to pull away in a major way, out scoring the bulls 30-15. Fourth quarter the the heat would dominate out scoring the bulls 30-22. The bulls would have two players ejected during the game for technical fouls, due to altercations and arguments with players of the heat. Today's key match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK KNICKS  vs INDIANA PACERS. These two teams came into this game of the series the number 2 and 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. The knicks came into this game off of a lost in game one to the pacers, and they were determined to turn the series around before it was to late. The pacers came into this game winning on the first game of this series, the pacers came into this game off of a 1-0 game series advantage over the knicks. First quarter the knicks would get out to a early lead, out scoring the pacers 29-20 in the first quarter. Second quarter the pacers would try to get back into the game, out scoring the knicks 22-18. Second half both teams would come out strong , but the knicks would get the edge, out scoring the pacers 25-24. Fourth quarter the knicks would dominate 33-13. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony with 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 ast. and Iman Shumpert 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 ast. MLB MONDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the ATLANTA BRAVES vs CINCINNATI REDS. The Braves came into this game with a record of 18-12. The Reds came into this game with a record of 18-14. First inning the reds would come up short, but the braves would come up strong, with one great run by Upton to give them a 1-0 lead at the end of the first. Second inning the reds would come up short, but the braves would get another great run in by Simmons hitting a home run to left field putting them up 2-0. Third inning both teams would come up empty. Fourth inning the braves, Simmons would hit a single to left field, knocking in a run from Uggla, making the score 3-0. Later in the inning Phillips of the reds would hit a double to left field helping Cozart get a run in , later Votto would also get a run in for the reds as well making the score 3-2. Fifth inning the reds would come up empty, but the braves would get a much needed run in, by Upton, making the score 4-2. The sixth and seventh inning both teams would come up empty. Eighth inning the braves Simmons would get a home run to knock in him self and Uggla to put them up 6-2. Later in the inning Schafer would hit a home run to 7-3. Later in the inning Votto of the reds would hit a double to left field knocking Cozart in making the score 7-3. Frazier of the reds would hit a ground ball to third helping Votto score, making the score 7-4. None would score in the ninth, the braves would go on to win it 7-4.
 


NBA MONDAY (PLAYOFFS) (Round 2)

Tonight's key match-up of the evening were the MIAMI HEAT  vs CHICAGO BULLS. The heat came into this game, ending there round 1 series against the Milwaukee Bucks over a week ago in 4 games, so this heat team had over a week before the second round series began tonight. The heat came into this round/game of the playoffs the number one seed over all and number 1 seed in the east. The bulls came into this round of the playoffs, as the number 5 seed and in there previous series, they took 7 games, to end there series against the Brooklyn nets. They ended there series, 2 days ago after a hard fought series with the nets. First quarter the heat struggled tremendously offensively, and the bulls took advantage of that, out scoring the heat 21-15, in the first. Second quarter the heat would finally get back on there feet, and would battle back out scoring the bulls 22-16, making the score tied at half time. Second half the heat would come out very strong out scoring the bulls 25-21. Fourth quarter the bulls would dominate, getting a few 3 pointers , going on to out score the heat in the fourth 35-24. Leading scorers for the heat were Lebron James with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 ast. and Dwayne Wade with 14 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 ast. Leading scorers for the bulls were Joakim Noah with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 ast. and Jimmy Butler with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 ast. The bulls would go on to bull the huge upset 93-88.

Tonight's game of the evening were the LOS ANGELES DODGERS vs SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS. The dodgers came into this game with a record of 13-16. The giants came into this game with a record of 18-12. First inning the dodgers would come up short, but the giants would get out to a early lead with Scutaro, getting a early run in from a base hit of Pence, putting the giants up 1-0. Second inning both teams would come up empty both scoring zero runs. Third inning the dodgers would come up short, but the giants Scutaro would make a run to extend there lead to 2-0. Fourth inning both teams would come up empty, both scoring zero runs. Fifth inning the dodgers would come up empty, but the giants would get two very important runs in to extend there lead. Pence would hit a double to right field helping Sandoval and Posey, get home a score a run, making the score 4-0. The Sixth and Seventh inning both teams would come up empty. Eighth inning the giants would come up empty, but the dodgers would make a few runs to get back into the game. Gonzalez would hit a single to right, helping Kemp and Ellis get home, so they would get home a make runs for the dodgers. Next play Gordon would hit a infield single, helping Uribe get home, making the score 3-4. Neither team would score in the nighth . The giants would go on to win it 4-3.

The pacers would win game 5 and 6 ending there playoff lives. First quarter the knicks would get out to a early lead, out scoring the pacers 27-22. Second quarter the pacers would battle back out scoring the knicks 30-19. Second half the pacers would come out very strong out scoring the knicks 29-19. Fourth quarter the knicks would make a run to try to catch back up, out scoring the pacers 30-21. Leading scorers for the pacers were David west with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Paul George with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 ast. Tonight's first key match-up of the evening were the SAN DIEGO PADRES vs CHICAGO CUBS. The padres came into this game with a record of 10-17. The cubs came into this game 11-16. The first through sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning the padres would come up short, but the cubs would get a big time hit. Hairston would hit a home run to left field, knocking runs in for him and Castillo making the game 2-0. Eighth inning the padres would fight back. Alonso would hit a single to right helping Guzman get a run in. Blanks, Alonso, and Denorfia would also get big time runs in or the padres later in the inning, making the score 4-2. Ninth inning both teams would come up short, both scoring zero runs. The padres would go on to win it 4-2.

The phillies came into this game with a record of 12-16. First inning the phillies would come up empty, but the marlins would come up big. Polanco would hit a ground ball to first , knocking in Pierre, making the score 1-0 at the end of the first. Second inning the phillies would fight back with Brown scoring a huge home run for the phillies, the marlins would come up short in the second scoring zero runs, making the score 1-1.Third inning both teams would come up empty. Fourth inning the marlins would come up  empty, but the phillies Howard would hit a huge home run to left field , making the score 2-1. Fifth inning the marlins would come up empty, but the phillies would get some big time hits/runs. Utley would hit a fly  to right field , helping Kratz make a run and score. Later in the inning Rollins would score for the phillies making the score 4-1. Sixth inning the phillies would come up empty, but the marlins made a run, to try to catch up, Ruggiano of the marlins hit a home run to right field making the score 4-2. Seventh inning both teams would come up empty. Eighth inning the marlins would come up short, but the phillies would make a few runs. The bulls came into this game with a record of 3-2 in this series. The bulls came into this game with alot of hard ache. The bulls players have been battling the flu, Nate Robinson, Carlos Boozer, and Luol Deng were espeically hit hard with the flue. Luol Deng would miss tonight's game because of it. First quarter the nets would come out very strong out scoring the nets 33-27. Second quarter the nets and bulls would both score 27 points, with the nets going into to half time with a 6 point lead. Second half the bulls would battle back out scoring the nets in the third 17-15. Fourth quarter the bulls would continue there comeback out scoring the nets in the fourth 21-20. Leading scorers for the nets were Deron Williams with 17 points, 2 rebounds, and 11 ast. and Brook Lopez with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 ast. Second half the rockets would come out strong again, out scoring the thunder in the third 37-32. The Thunder would make a attempt to make a come back by out scoring the rockets 25-20. Leading scorers for the thunder were Kevin Durant with 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 ast. and Serge Ibaka with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 ast. NBA WEDNESDAY (PLAYOFFS)

Tonight's game of the evening were the BOSTON CELTICS vs NEW YORK KNICKS . The Celtics came into this game down 3-1 in the series, so this was a must win game tonight for the celtics. The Knicks came into this game up 3-1 in the series, and they wanted to end the series tonight, so tonight was a must win for them as well,(arriving at the game knicks players dressed in all black to represent that they were putting this series, and game to rest and were going to end the series). First quarter the knicks came out  very strong out scoring the celtics in the first 22-20. Second quarter the celtics would fight back out scoring the celtics in the second 25-17. Second half the celtics would come out dominating, out scoring the knicks 24-21. Fourth quarter the knicks would make a come back, and would out score the celtics in the fourth 26-23. Leading scores for the celtics were Jeff Green with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 ast. and Kevin Garnett with 16 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 ast. Leading scorers for the knicks were Carmelo Anthony 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 ast. and Raymond Felton with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 ast. The Celtics would go on to win this must win game 92-86.
