NBA MONDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening featured the WESTERN CONFERENCE finalist, the MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES vs SAN ANTONIO SPURS. Tonight was game four of the Western Conference finals, and the spurs were up in the series 3-0. The grizzlies came into this game down in the series 0-3, and if they wanted to keep there playoff hopes alive, they had to come out and compete tonight, and show everyone that they were worthy enough to be in the Western Conference finals. The spurs came into this game up in the series 3-0. They wanted to close the series out tonight, so that they could get some rest before the NBA finals. First quarter the grizzlies would get out to a early lead, but by the end of the quarter the spurs had the upper hand, and would come back and out score the grizzlies in the first 24-14. Second quarter the grizzlies would fight back to try to cut into the deficit, out scoring the spurs in the second 24-20. Second half both teams would come out strong, both scoring 28 points in the third. Fourth quarter the spurs would out score the grizzlies 21-20. Leading scorers for the spurs were Tony Parker were 37 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 ast. and Tim Duncan were 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 ast. Leading scorers for the grizzlies were Pondexter with 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 ast. and Mark Conley with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 ast.
