MLB THURSDAY

Today's first match-up of the day were the CLEVELAND INDIANS vs BOSTON RED SOX. The indians came into this game with a record of 26-19. The redsox came into this game with a record of 28-19. First inning both teams would come up short, neither team would score any runs. Second inning the red sox's would come up short, but the indians would take full advantage. Stubbs of the indians would hit a double to right field, helping his teammate Santana get a run in. Third inning the indians Reynolds would hit a single to deep center field, helping his team mates Cabrera and Brantley get two important runs in. Later in the inning Aviles of the indians would hit a ground ball to the shortstop, helping another runner for the indians get home Santana.Later in the innning red sox would fight back. Ortiz of the redsox would hit a home run to right field, helping his team mates Nava and Pedroia get home. By the bottom of the third, the indians were up 4-3. Fourth inning the redsox would come up empty, but the indians would keep the momentum going, with Cabrera hitting a single to left field, helping Bourn get a run in. The Indians would be leading the redsox's at the bottom of the fourth 5-3. Fifth inning the redsox would go scoreless, but the indians would continue to dominate. The indians Bourn would hit a single to right field, helping Aviles get a run in , making the score at the bottom of the fifth 6-3. Sixth inning the redsox's would go scoreless, but the indians would continue to grow momentum. The indians Reynolds would hit a single to left field, helping Cabrera score and also Santana would score. Later in the inning Gomes would hit a double to left field, helping Brantley and Santana score. The next play Stubbs would hit a triple to center field, helping Reynolds and Gomes get runs in. After that play Bourn would hit a single to right field, helping Stubbs get a run in as well. Neither team would score in the seventh through ninth innings, and the indians would go on to dominate the game, winning it 12-3.
