MLB TUESDAY

Tonight's match-up of the evening were the HOUSTON ASTROS vs DETROIT TIGERS. The astros came into this game with a record of 10-29. The tigers came into this game with a record of 21-15. First inning both teams would come up empty. Second inning the tigers would come up short, but the astros would get there team off to a great start, getting two important runs. Astros Martinez hit a double to left field, and off of that Carter would make it home and score. Later in the inning Parades would hit a fly ball to center, helping Pena score. At the end of the second, the astros would be up 2-0. The third and fourth inning both teams would come up short, both not being able to score any runs. Fifth inning the astros would come up short , but the tigers would take advantage. Tigers Kelly would hit a single to left field, helping Infante get home, later in the inning Santiago would hit a double to left field, helping Kelly score. A few plays after that, in the inning Driks would hit a ground ball to right field, that would help Santiago score. By the end of the fifth, the score would be 3-2. Sixth inning the astros would come up empty, but the tigers would take advantage. Martinez of the tigers would hit a single to right field, helping Cabrera get a very important run in, putting them up 4-2. Later in the inning Fielder would score, making the score at the end of the sixth 5-2. Seventh inning the astros would come up short, but the tigers would have a very important play. Cabrera  of the tigers would hit a home run to left field. The tigers wouldn't need the home run, because they would go on to win it 6-2.
