MLB MONDAY

Tonight's first match-up of the evening were the NEW YORK YANKEES vs BALTIMORE ORIOLES. The yankees came into this game with a record of 27-16 on the season. The orioles came into this game with a record of 23-20 on the season. First inning the Yankees would be the first team to get points on the bored, with a huge home run from Cano to center field, putting them up 1-0 at the bottom of the first. The orioles would come up scoreless in the first. Second inning The yankees would come up big again with another home run, coming from Adams to left field, but the orioles would have a answer this time, with Davis of the orioles making a huge home run to right center field.At the bottom of the second, the score was 2-1. The third and fourth innings, both teams would come up scoreless. Fifth inning the yankees would come up scoreless, but the orioles would take advantage , and would try to tie the score up. The orioles, Markakis would hit a single to center field, helping his teammate Pearce get a run in for the orioles, making the score at the bottom of the fifth 2-2. In the sixth inning both teams would come up empty. Seventh inning both teams were all tied up, but the yankees would be up first to bat and would take full advantage of it. Overbay of the yankees would hit a huge home run to right field. Later in the inning the orioles would  have a answer, Markakis would hit a double to left field, helping Casilla score for the orioles, later in the inning the orioles would come up big again, with Hardy hitting a double to right field helping Markakis score, putting the orioles up 4-3 at the bottom of the seventh. Neither team would score in the eighth inning. Ninth inning the orioles would come up scoreless, so this was the Yankees chance to tie the game. The yankees Hafner would hit a huge home run to tie up the game at the bottom of the ninth 4-4, sending the game into a extra inning. Tenth inning the orioles would come up empty, but the yankees would prove they were the better team, and would come up big. Wells of the yankees would hit a ground ball to left field helping Suzuki score, later in the inning the yankees would  stretch there lead, Hafner would hit a single to right field helping Wells score, making the final score at the bottom of the tenth. 6-4. The yankees would go on to win this hard fought game 6-4.

Tonight's second match-up of the evening were the TORONTO BLUE JAYS vs TAMPA BAY RAYS. The blue jays came into this game with a record of 17-26. The rays came into game with a record of 23-20. The Toronto Blue Jays would go on to win this hard fought game 7-5.
