CAYMAN INVITATIONAL

Track season is beginning to heat up, from the Penn Relay's a few weeks ago, starting the out door season and starting the rode to the 2013 World Championships. One of the track meets that lead after the Penn relays was the Cayman invitational. A few of the worlds stars from the United States and Jamaica were in attendance and were ready to blaze the track. Some of the winners were 6 time gold medalist and world record holder of the 100 and 200, of the country of Jamaica, Usain Bolt in the 2012 London Olympics.At the Cayman Invitational, Bolt would win the 100meters in a time of 10.09, barely getting the lead against  his training partner Kemar Baily Cole. The next break out star was the United States own Carmelita Jeter. Jeter wasn't in attendance at the Penn Relays because of a injury, but the Cayman Invitational would be the meet to help her get her season off to a great start. Carmelita Jeter would be the silver medalist in the 100m and bronze medalist in the 200m in the 2012 Olympics in London. Carmelita would get first in the 100m at the Cayman Invitational with a winning time of 10.95, this is just a start for Carmelita. For both of theses stars this one of track meets that will help them in there road to the 2013 World Championships.
